I have college orientation soon and I’ll need to drive down the day before because it’s far and I don’t want to drive in the dark (not safe) or be tired for orientation because that’s how you meet people and make first impressions and stuff. The problem is my mom can’t come down until the next day and so I would need to get a hotel, but I’m not old enough to check into a hotel. So what do I do? Can’t sleep in car, mom is not okay with that at all so we need an actual solution

eta: they have on campus for the actual orientation but they made it very clear that no additional housing (before or after) would be offered and kids need to get a hotel or find other arrangements

I’m about to start college and I haven’t ever really taken anybody on a date before. I want to have some good ideas (and inexpensive) so I’m prepared

incoming freshman. i keep seeing stuff (on social media) saying that if you send your score to a college you might be able to get it early through your schools portal. is that true for unt?
