I would like setup multiple tracks with their own FX chain and switch between them sending MIDI CC messages with a footswitch. Can Studio One do that, if so how? I've tried asking to AI agents but didn't get a real good answer.

I've been considering learning to play with standard notation lately. I feel like tablatures are holding me back because it requires more mental concentration to read the numbers compared to note heads and thinking in fret numbers instead of position in scale also is a loss.
I've been playing for about 20 years and have good technical skills, I used to play in a Dream Theater cover band. I can already read standard notation, I also play the piano and I've learned it with sheet music exclusively, so that part at least is covered.
I'm wondering how long it would take me to learn to sight-read relatively complex songs (not too much jazz but a lot of progressive metal) considering my current level. Now I know the right answer to this question is "it depends on individuals and dedication", but I have ADHD and I know I won't be able to keep up if I don't see relatively quick progress. Is there a ball-park on the subject?

A I the only one having this issue? If I open a file exported from another DAW using the daw exchange format, everything is fine. When I then save it as a Studio One song and reopen it again, everything gets messed up in a way that's hard to explain. Basically the instruments don't sound like they should, it's like their settings have been tempered with or something like that.

Does anyone have an idea if and when they will do a discount on Studio One upgrade licenses? They did one on new licenses not long ago but not on upgrades.

I've lived in Luxembourg most of my life and still work there, so I've only ever had Luxembourgish mobile operators and never saw a valid reason to change when I moved over. However, it occasionally happens that registering to some service or just validating a form requires a Belgian number, which is quite annoying.
So I've been thinking about getting a prepaid card, as cheap as possible that's I'll only use to receives messages and I suppose recharge once a year to avoid losing the number. Some AI suggested Jim Mobile but I don't know how much I can trust that.
I'm posting here because I figured other people certainly have been in the same situation. I'd ask on the Belgium sub but this is more a border-crossing problem which doesn't concern the vast majority of them.
