I am truly brand new, completely. I know absolutely nothing but definitely wanting to learn! What are these called exactly? Value? Etc? Thanks for any information! I’ve been doing sports cards 20 years but completely lost here

Truly new and first box ever opened.
I truly am completely, I mean completely new to Pokemon cards. I was buying some sports cards at GameStop and decided to buy a box the recommended. I tried to find a beginners group but nothing really out there. What exactly are they called, etc? I want to learn but this is way harder than sports cards I’ve done for 20 years lol.
