Is anyone here not a high earner??

I understand to take everything I see with a grain of salt on the internet but I swear everyone in this sub is earning £50k+ a year.

I'm 32 and I'm currently earning the most I've ever earned which is about £30k a year. I can bump it up to £32k with bonuses. I have a mortgage, £21k squirreled away in an S&S ISA (contributing £400 per month) and a £6k emergency fund but I feel like FIRE will never come as I have no idea how to bring in more money or get a high paying job.

Anybody here on a low wage? Or at least start their FIRE journey on a low wage? Thanks.

Edit: I put take-home pay rather than gross. Sorry guys.

Have they taken single edge razor blades off you and replaced them with this bullshit? 😂 Scratching off resin immediately gums them up and makes them useless. (UK)

Long term pie is VWRP.

So I've been putting money into this account for the last year, mainly focusing on VWRP and GOOG

Debating on starting a small 5 - 10 holding pie for British companies as most of my portfolio is US based.

I'll be keeping hold of VWRP and GOOG long term. I've seen some other UK based pies but most of them are based around dividends.

Should I be looking for decent dividend paying companies or companies with growth potential for this new pie?
