Asking this as Reiner's greatest hater, what's the fandom's consensus on Reiner as a character? (can be in regards to his role in the story, his relationship with the other warriors, historia, etc.)

So we all remember the anime, right? Well, I wanna roleplay the series from season 1, because I have ideas stuck in my head that need to escape. So the premise is basically the same as the series but with some differences; The Church and their Holy Knights staged an internal coup and Princess Elizabeth escaped and is now seeking out the 7 Deadly Sins.
Ocs and fanon/rewrite versions of canons are, naturally and obviously due to how weird some canons are, allowed. Only ccs I really gaf keeping about are Escanor my goat and Elizabeth. I would prefer everyone to mirror one another with message length, shipping is allowed* as long as both parties agree, I'm honestly really bored and I wanna rp 7ds
