Honestly it’s not a bad nest except that it’s about eighteen inches from an active front door. Every doggone time I open the door or step onto the front porch, it’s a jumpscare for both of us. Her favorite tactic is to hold very still until I’m right at the door, then lose her nerve and explode out right in my face. I’m thinking about putting up a sign so some poor delivery person doesn’t fall down the stairs.
