Got swarmed for the first time

Where I live the wasps love the area. We've had summers come and go no issues with them, usually live in harmony. What the fuck happened today? I don't know. I went out to let my dog back inside where we got swarmed by at least 20, my dog cried out, i cried out. We both got stung multiple times. They chased us from the backyard- to the front yard- inside my house- all the way to my room in the basement. I ended up killing 5 of them in my room, and i found another 4 upstairs. Im a 25 year old woman and hollered and cried like a baby yall. I wish I had security cameras to watch that shit back. With that being said, FUCK WASPS MOTHER FUCKERRRSSS. Fucking aggressive pieces of shit that seriously make mosquitos look like angels. Joining this sub as a form of therapy after that im actually traumatized. I'm going to have to look for the nest- gonna wait till tm. Pray for me yall

Can I turn off the AI entirely?

I’m so sorry if this is a dumb question but I had something happen yesterday that was very unnerving. I use my echo as my speaker for my computer- I was watching a documentary and was talking to myself and said wow that’s so cool and it responded. “What’s so cool that’s got you excited?” It didnt even turn on to hear an answer. I said Alexa don’t ever do that again and all she said was “Okay” and powered off. Anyways, kind of scared me. I know they’re always listening but the side comment was just very spooky. Is that even normal? Should I put tape over her mic or something? I’ve used it for years and never had that happen. Thanks for any guidance :/ again, I’m sorry if this is a stupid question.

Hey! This sub is pretty dead but I thought my question wouldn’t have a better place but here. I’m currently seeing a female who’s avoidant (and honest about it), i feel like I’m very communicative and patient. At times I felt like I just wasn’t good enough but after educating myself around Reddit and reading points of view I’m starting to understand her thought process (although not ness healthy). I have a couple theories on where the coping mechanism comes from, but it’s not relevant. My question for avoidants- What is something that supports you? Is there something you wished someone would understand about you when you first started to talk? Any pointers in general?
