Assalam Alikum, So sorry for posting my results so late but...here:

Assalam Alikum y'all, I'm in absolute shock. Like Ijdk what to even say abt this?! I was legit holding this and staring at it continuosly like I'd been looking at some new animal or plant species. I just can't say how much astonished and surprised I was just looking at this. Like I 100% knew I'd get 4A* in all other subjects except English, but the English one was literally a jumpscare, a real surprise. I could never have predicted I'd get 5A*s Straight this year, Masha'Allah. Masha'Allah Allahumma Barik, I'm really satisfed and grateful to Allah and pray that you all are satisfied with your results too, Ameen. I had used different and better words that could express my feelings more clearly, but I mistakenly failed to save that as draft or post it, due to lack of internet. Khair, here's my result! Alhamdulillah, Allah blessed me with the fruit of my hardwork and I really really hope, you all also got the perfect fruitz of your continuous dedicated hardwork, Ik how hard this year was, but y'all got through it, So GOOD JOB and don't end up comparing each other with me. Everyone is different, sabki kefiyat, haalat sab alag hote hain.

I swear I seriously don't mean to flex or make someone envious or mock someone, I only intended to post this just for those who wanted to see.

I promise I'm just tryna open myself and pour myself out...

You see, since the day of exam, like before each exam, this was...perhaps the first time...and No, I swear I don't mean to flex, I'm just...Idk I just need to talk with someone and Ig this community's the only place. Sooo... back to what I was saying, My O1 Results were 2As and 1B, I was extremely devastated, because I expected three A*s of myself, maybe I expected too much, but that's beside the point. The point is...I worked myself tirelessly day and night from the beginning of O2 this year and actually had 4A*s and 1A in English in Mocks and I was extremely overjoyed, but...only infront of others, it didn't feel like an achievement, because you know why? I actually aimed for a distinction this year in atleast one subject...just one subject, even though I knew I was not up for it, but in coaching, in afew exams I somehow scores 59/60 in Physics and a full 50/50 in some small tests by my Coaching Teachers. Sooo...somehow they just imbued some kind of hope in me, that I will surely secure A*, both verbally and in an implied manner, My Physics Teacher, Sir Altamash Maher, told me I was his distinction kid, the same way My Pst Sir Last Year said, I was an A* kid...And y'know what? I literally felt no actual pride at that time in being called a distinction kid. Why? You may ask, because I didn't wanna bring my hopes up for it. No matter what, I didn't want to think I could score a distinction. And yet still I ended up hoping deeply for it, I worked even harder and harder and yet...this year's exams completely...completely screwed me up, I mean I'm confident enough that I'll atleast get 4A*s and Maybe a B or C in English, but those 4A*s have stopped feeling like an achievement. I feel completely empty, I literally have no nervousness, no fear, no nothing, I'm just completely empty inside... completely empty, why? Idk myself. I didn't feel a thing during the Mocks, I didn't feel anything standing before the exam halls or seated before the main examination papers. I casually pretend and pretend and pretend that I even care abt my results in front of my friends, while in reality, I don't care if I get an A* or a C, for no reason whatsoever, the results of last year had disappointed me so much, I kept crying and crying and crying for like...a week or two, at most, I was soooo frickin' disappointed, I might've pledged to myself to not hope for anything this year. This year, all the year when my friends and classmates would be stressing and fearing abt their grades, I wouldn't give a damn, I would enter every exam with a straight face, remain serious during classes and help them with homework assignments or any topics they didn't understand, after doing which I'd just go back to my seat. They kept maybe just flattering me or maybe they heartfelt praised me and yet I didn't give a slight damn for whatever they did, neither did I give a damn for the results or anything.

It's just the same rn, Idk what this feeling of emptiness is...and yet...AND YET, I just can't sleep rn, not because of some excitement or nervousness, rather just because I've for some reason become used to this routine of remaining awake during nights from the past month, before this I used to be asleep by 10pm and wake up by 10am, that was my perfect schedule. Sooo...I just tried sleeping at 10pm tonight and I did doze off but ended up waking up 2 hours ago on 1:37am, sooo...I just thought I should share my honest feelings, just to maybe pour all this off my chest, this worthless burden of nothing that I don't even care for.

With that, I pray to Allah that you all get higher than your desires results and for Allah to make that result better for you Ameen, Summa Ameen.

My Advice to you all, will be...Don't lose hope in yourself and in Allah, keep working hard, You will! No doubt receive what you worked for, I did too, this whole year and rest I'll find out in today's results. But, atleast most of my academic year was hopeful.

Khair, What I mean to say is, don't become like me, all hopeless, even when I'm sure Allah stands besides me and Allah will grant me what I worked hard for, yet I'm so ungrateful. Unlike me, don't ve ungrateful, I don't expect y'all to be mature, because at the end of the day, we all are teenagers and we tend to make the most mistakes at this time of life, and it's fine, there's a lot of life to live ahead, to make mistakes, to lose, to win. Sooo, don't let your results get you down, like I did to myself, that experience taught me alot, I became humble and I find that it was for my better that Allah granted me 2As and 1B and someone I used to think would achieve lower, achieved three As. That lesson was really really necessary, Alhamdulillah, Allah granted me humility and humbleness through that lesson, I'm grateful.

Also, don't feel bad or think ill abt someone else id they scored higher than you. Just try to work harder in Alevels in College.

Here in this Subreddit there's even another A2 Student, who has revealed to you all that you don't need to really care abt OL results, these are just the beginning of something far more horrific i.e. Alevels so if you lose hope and give up with OL, you won't do much in AL.

AL is the main game, So don't let OL Grades bother you and yet use the negative energy, the influence of your complaining relatives or parents, the humiliation from your mocking classmates and use that as fuel to move forward to work harder than ever and to strike back at them with full force. You need to show you are worthy!

And to those who do secure really good grades, try to stay humble, hide it from others, specially friends who scored lower, let them think your grades are lower than them, let them feel good abt themselves, Maybe Allah will count that as Sadaqah. Don't suddenly become someone who's extremely proud, I've had many in my surroundings who had A*s, As and Distinctions in O1 but it absolutely crushed their O2 Grades and some in O2 got crushed in AS. So no matter what, don't let it get to you and just rush home and pray Shukrana Nafils for whatever your results are and don't immediately start jumping up and down and sharing it with everyone and boasting abt it, neither should you become depressed and stay holed up in your room (Trust me, I went through it and I really regret resorting to such stupid methods).

RN, Pray Tahajjud and Fajr and ask for grades higher than you expect yourself to score. Allah has no limits, he's infinite, for him granting you even a distinction isn't really much, it's several times smaller than an atom for him. So, just ask Allah be hopeful and go to sleep and In sha Allah, he will take care of the rest, Ameen.

I hope that my post, even if really really small, was helpful to you and I'll pray for y'all to get A*s.

One more thing, whatever I said above, each and everything, I actually truly mean all of it, all of that was from the bottom of my heart, I actually wanted to express deepest darkest things inside my heart.

That was an educated "gas", huh?

Son: What is smth that walks with four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon and three in the evening?

Dad: Let me make an educated guess.

Dad: *farts*

Son: Dad, what was that? It stinks!

Dad: I made an educated "gas", since I didn't know the answer.

Help! Some water got into my HP Victus 15.

So...A day ago, My Victus 15 (Powered off), had some water spilling into it...Like, it's a bit weird and I don't know how to explain the situation thoroughly but, in short, our AC (Air Conditioner) started leaking water and the drops directly came down upon my laptop from the back vents and water entered inside from the left vents where the fan is situated...Sooo, my brother immediately woke me up in the early morning and informed me, I was really worried and immediately opened the back cover and disconnected battery...I didn't hear or see any sparks and even opened up the whole laptop (as in removed the fans and heatsink, to check if the water got to the CPU and GPU, which thank god, it didn't), I then wiped off the water with tissues (since I unfortunately didn't have a microfiber cloth, ATP) and haven't turned it on and kept it in an inverted V-shape since the incident. What are my chances that it'll survive and what precautions and measures should I take before powering it on (I intend to power it on after two days)...I intended to clean it off with 100% Isopropyl alcohol and Rub it off with a microfiber cloth, but I unfortunately don't have any of the two things available right now...I can get the microfiber cloth but Idk where and how to buy the Isopropyl and if someone will even sell it to me (I'm currently 16). One more thing is that I do have 70% Isopropyl wipes but I fear using them as they obv do have 30% water in them...

Any suggestions will really be appreciated, Please feel free to drop suggestions and advice, I really look forward to them.

Also, Some water had reached my battery too, and I saw water on my battery too, so immediately after disconnecting the battery, I had wiped it off too...I checked and made sure that I didn't see any water near or on the mother, but I saw some below the fans and heatsink and wiped that off too.
