Every time I attempt to keep it simple…my American ways seep through.

Someone gifted us a bag of peppers from their garden, located in Northern Germany. Please help me identify any of the species? Thank you so much!

I made my usual sourdough recipe

“Say no to shaggy dough” technique
750g high protein Italian pizza flour type 00
450g water
200g bubbly starter
25g pink Himalayan salt

After a 48 hour cold ferment…I dropped the dough into a boiling pot of water with about 1/3 cup baking soda for about 45 seconds and then I scored and baked as usual. Delicious!! And a fun way to enjoy sourdough! Very similar flavor to a Bavarian Brezel.

(I did bake the baking soda for 30 minutes prior to adding it to the pot)

I bought a very healthy and fairly large monstera. It’s been thriving for almost two years…

It was repotted a year ago and transitioned perfectly. Watering was great with a good soak every 2 weeks.

Then leaves suddenly started turning yellow and falling off…then came brown tips which I assumed meant it needed more water.

I eventually spotted what looked like white thrips and I used neem oil and ordered predatory mites.

What causes this kind of damage in the photos? Please help my poor monstera
