So it does sound grim, and it is, but basically Alexandria orders incentives for people to move to Brockton Bay because op!Taylor has a aura that causes people to kill themselves/die in general. I'm pretty sure in the story they call it something like call of the void, but not certain.

But this is not the main power, only a side effect, and Alexandria orders the incentives to stop Taylor from leaving the Bay for somewhere else.

In this fic it's not a power swap because a side character who I think is Charlotte gets the bug powers instead. I really only remember one scene where Lisa kinda threatens her and I think Taylor stands there menacingly.

I'm like, 90% sure it's got multiple chapters so not a oneshot, but maybe part of a snippet thread.

Ok so I found it in a snippet thread, the story is called Bitterface, from Somewhat Disinterested's Discarded snips.

So the only scene I remember right now is when the guy (maybe an old man) makes a staff out if a tree that was struck by lightning (maybe he called the lightning down himself?) possibly to replace a lost one.

So the mc has a version of PtV, but I don't remember the limitations, and asked their power how to kill the biggest threat to humanity. This would of course be Eidolon, due to him summoning and unconsciously controlling/directing the Endbringers.

I believe just as they shot him, Dr. Mother opened a portal, witnessing the assassination, and then Contessa portals to the assassin and puts a gun to their head.

I only saw this once, but what I remember from the scene, a white guy says he only barely his dad and that he even missed half his birthdays. Then a black guy says it was was the same situation with his dad. After that one asks the others birthday, and they find it they have the same bday (June 30th maybe?) and then they both pull out a picture of their dad, but idk if it was the same picture or not.

I just finished "Too Bad. We Drinking Lemonade Today.", where Hatake's secret daughter is raised in Wave, finds "magic" and decides to become a wizard pirate, and thought the idea was awesome. Though unfortunately at the end she still went with Hatake to Konohagakure, I thought the idea was awesome.

Is there anything similar to this idea?
