My game has been VERY weird lately and I don’t know why
Certain liveries not showing up sometimes
Me being unable to press X to continue after finishing a session and needing to restart the game
Not being able to access GT auto and being stuck unless I restart the game.
Is this just a me thing?? How do I fix if so
I must warn you, I am EXTREMELY stupid and useless with computers, so I apologize in advance for what you are about to read
I tried updating the firmware to my simracing wheel, as it was bugging out, and I’m pretty sure I was doing everything correctly, however I was stupid and forgot to plug in my laptop which has a battery life of about 5 minutes, so it died halfway through the process, and when I plugged it back in I saw the installation process was stuck about halfway through, and the message log thing said
“Error: Update image failed! Image not found
Update process is stopped by error.”
I didn’t know what to do, and the only option I could see was to X out of the updater and try again, but when I did that, my computer had an aneurysm where anytime I would hover my cursor over certain things it would flicker my screen on and off or just plain blackness.
(Around this time I saw something open up in my file explorer with a shit ton of files or folders or whatever that had “something something firmware/drivers/something idk” on most of them, and they were all last updated at the same moment I canceled the update.
I didn’t know what to do besides just restarting everything, and that solved the computer aneurysm, but when I went to restart the firmware update, it progressed just fine until 53%, and then it said
“Error: Update image failed! Image not found
Update process is stopped by error.”
It did that 2-3 times I tried already
