Zoom L6max for DJing?

Zoom L6max for DJing?

One common thing I encounter while sifting through tutorials is "play through the mixer." So I started exploring what mixers are out there and stumbled on something kinda unrelated, but still cool.

Zoom L6max is a mixer, multi-channel audio interface, and multi-channel 32-bit recorder. It costs like $400.

It has 3-band EQ (with parametric mid) on every channel, built-in recording, 2 headphones outputs, and an external effects send/return.

A lot of quality-of-life features that are present on expensive gear, but at a budget price. It's also compact and could be battery-powered.

I don't really know what I want to ask, but isn't it cool? Thoughts?

context: just a noob, my current setup looks like this.

First setup

First setup. Spent couple of month googling and reading manuals. Ended up with this.

My priorities are: stems, modularity, portability.

Faders are mapped to stem's volumes. "Master" fader works as cross-fader. Deck's volume is controlled by combination of a knob and "mute" button.

Djay Pro, iPad 11", Akai MidiMix, Zoom AMS-24.

Individual waveform for each stem is one of djay's most underadvertised features, even by Algoriddim Itself

It should be turned on by default. Make people find how to disable it, not how to enable it or if it even exists.

I mean, come on, guys. You won this one. We applaud you. Take a bow.
