Three walks, peanut butter on breakfast and dinner, birthday cookie, and his favorite treat from the garden. It was a rough day!

I take Grimm out for a run around the yard first thing every morning. A few minutes into our outside time he stops, looks at the house, and runs to the door. As soon as I let him inside he takes up his post at the foot of the stairs waiting for my wife. It’s like he’s happy to be inside until he remembers someone is missing.

He discovered kale in our garden. He doesn’t eat it, just likes to crunch it. He’s going away for a week or so of training tomorrow. I’m going to miss him.

He’s not sure he likes it.

Dropped these red maples in February 2025. Drug them out to buck and split today.

Bucking with a big saw is no joke, but it sure is fun!
