Hi folks. I've offered to help the private collector who commissioned Karaghul from me in 2025 to help with introductions to potential buyers via my network.

The price will be exclusive and open to private negotiation between the parties. For me to make such a sword and scabbard my client's budgets are generally five figures.

Sword is located in the Europe (Netherlands).

The sword has never been used and is as it arrived new. Unfortunately there is a very fine ding in the edge of the blade courtesy of the postal service/ customs. Its very tiny and no attempt has been made to remove it.

Karaghul is the sword of Felix Jaeger from the Warhammer book series.

Every part of the sword and scabbard, belt and all hardware are full custom and hand made by myself, even down to the scale stamp used on the belt which i carved from some stainless rod.

Tooled veg tanned leather over Poplar core. Labradorite set dragon's eye. Acrylic painted fantasy art rendered in three dimensions onto the tooled leather. Hand crafted brass lockets and chape featuring Wyrm tail belt loops, dragon head and egg-in-claw finals on the chape.

I was thinking 🤔 I seldom see customisation threads here; such as rewrapping handles or making new ones, personalising swords with etchings or engravings, cutting down/ filework/ reshaping of hilt parts, scabbard making/decorating, making swordbelts, display plaques, or other arts and crafts action.

My first forays into my craft was regrinding and personalising the production swords I had. All that tinkering soon led to making a sword from scratch.

Please give a shout ☺️🤚 if you do up your sleeves and get into the craft aspect of sword collecting and please, share pics of your work.

What craft subjects would you like to learn more about? Do you look for content about customisation crafts? I have made so many tutorials about how to do all of these things but there doesn't seem to be much of an audience for collectors' DIY.

Sting Like a Butterfly (2018) 🦋 🗡

We’ve long suspected the presence of Pixies or Sprites in our garden... Odd movements caught in the corner of the eye. Windows slamming when there is no breeze, and rappings at the door in the small hours. The half-eaten fruit, borrowings and burrowings.

Until one clouded autumn day when we were trimming back the garden, we found this sword in a hole in a wall, overgrown with Ivy, behind the Wych Elm. Whether it was forgotten there, or lay in wait for certain need, we don't know. We’ve since put it back in it's nook, having documented it thus. It’s good to know the garden is in safe hands; and we always leave some fruit on the vines now.

So stoked on all the love im seeing for the new film online, zero toxicity, its like bizarro world. Ive seen it twice and really really enjoyed it. I've been a fan since day one, October 1983. Ive still got the OG HeMan and Battle Cat I received for my 7th Birthday the same week the first episode aired. I felt quite disappointed when I saw the 87 film on my 11th birthday, though I couldn't tell my mum that.

I made this two-handed Sword of Power in 2009 for my own enjoyment. I started making swords in 2007 (this was my second attempt at a Power Sword).

To celebrate the film I thought I'd share this two-handed Sword of Power which I made for my own enjoyment in 2009.

Grip: Jarrah (Eucalypt) hardwood core with Chrome Tanned Kid leather wrap.

The grip core is Poplar, channel milled and glued together with titebond 3. Its the shaped on a belt grinder and wrapped in cord. Risers under the wrap are made from leather and finely shaped with a dremel and diamond bit. The over wrap is skivved on a belt grinder, wet molded and glued down with titebond original. It will be followed with dye and paint work. The brass spacer will be aged and antiqued.

This pommel for a dragon themed sword was sculpted entirely by stock removal techniques.

Friends don't let friends buy swords from ebay and etsy these days. Most of these sellers are in Pakistan and have made an industry of selling cheap shitty replicas of swords from reputable custom sword makers. Their product may or may not exist. They will list our photos of our work, use our spec sheet, and even impersonate us personally including using our faces on their profile pic. If you do choose to buy knock off swords from Pakistan I hope you enjoy them as ornaments, but don't expect them to be the same as the listing image and for heavens sake DO NOT USE THEM!!
