Weird delivery issues...

The young guy who delivers my meals is suuuuper nice and I'm not going to reach out to customer service about it, but he has no air conditioning in his car and my meals are always messed up because he delivers the bag on its side.

Just a bummer...

Anyone else have similar issues??

Clarification: he hands thr bag to me upright, but the bags are all stacked in his hatchback and he gently tosses them around to find my order lol

How do I find good eggs to purchase?

I always buy pasture-raised, but I guess that's mostly b.s., too. I don't eat them often, so I don't mind paying a pretty penny.

When I've been on instacart and I google the names of the "pasture-raised" egg companies and include "controversy" they all seem terrible/deceptive. I have a hard time buying from local people who just have their own chickens because I've had my own and know most people I know who have chickens don't care for them by my standards. I also don't have my own chickens because I won't eat their eggs 😁

Is there a good company out there??? Even at Whole Foods? (Yes, I know and hate that it's Amazon, too lol ) I'm in St. Louis, Missouri.

Thanks!!

How do I (49F) tell my SO (50M) that I want my own place?

We've lived in his house for 10 years now. I initially had a beautiful house I rented, and within the first year he urged me to let go of my place...that it would build trust (he'd been cheated on) and would strengthen our relationship.

Here we are, 10 years later, and I'm paying half of his mortgage and bills. When I've talked about getting a property/house for my mother or a weekend place, of course he says it doesn't make sense.

He said once in the past that if anything happened to him, he'd want me to have the house, but that's just been talk. Recently, he put me as a beneficiary on his work life insurance, which was reassuring, but that is very minimal and doesn't give me security.

I feel like I'm investing in his future, but not mine. Why can't we stay part-time in both places? Each of us pay for our own?

I'd also like to have a house that is mine...his came fully-furnished/decorated when I moved in 🤣 I have a few things here, but the rest is in the basement/storage. Thanks!

Adult here. Am I irrational about my bf sharing all my fav things with his mom?

So, I was/am an only child and had a single mother. We were/are VERY tight. My bf of 10 years is the youngest of three and bith parents were married for 50+ years.

My bf (50) has a habit of sharing and getting my favorite things for his mom. It's really a bit weird. He feels a bit beholden to her financially or guilty when he doesn't share every detail of his life with her, but the issue with my favorite things is really starting to irk me. When I come across a new cheese or dish at a restaurant or dessert I order at home, or milk or chip or salsa or anything that I have a fondness of, he always has to ask me the brand and where I got it, etc., on and on. Am I just being goofy? It just really feels like I can't just have something special to myself.

It just feels like a bit much. Thanks.

Edit: His two slightly older siblings moved away right after college and come back for short visits once or twice a year. Their relationships aren't the best, and the sister and brother don't speak other than when they have to. They each have two kids in college and we have none.
