Hello all. I would love to try a raw vegan lifestyle. I eat “fairly” well, but would love to dive deeper
And getting more serious about my overall health and lifestyle. My concern is just what the title says. How do you get enough food and protein sources, especially for people who work out and lift weights? Does anyone have any sample meal plans for a beginner? Any solid books I can read? I would greatly appreciate it. TIA and happy Sunday
I have worked in healthcare for approximately 20 years in a variety of roles. Although I am not a nurse, my experience has given me a broad understanding of healthcare operations from both the clinical and administrative sides. My career began as a hospice technician and CNA, and over the years I have held positions such as Administrative Associate, Operations Coordinator, and most recently, Care Coordination Technician.
Currently, I work extensively with healthcare technology and applications, including Epic, QNXT, statewide Medicaid and Medicare portals, and other healthcare systems used to support member care and care coordination. Through these experiences, I have developed a growing interest in the intersection of healthcare, technology, and data.
I am currently three terms away from completing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration. As I look ahead to the next phase of my career, I am considering pursuing a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. However, I am also very interested in healthcare informatics, healthcare IT, and data analytics.
One of the challenges I am facing is determining the best path forward. Since I do not have a formal IT background, I am unsure how difficult it would be to transition into healthcare informatics or healthcare data analytics. I am trying to decide whether pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Informatics would be the best option, or if obtaining certifications and gaining experience in healthcare technology and analytics would be a more practical first step.
Given my healthcare background and experience with healthcare systems, I would appreciate guidance on the most effective path to move into the healthcare technology, informatics, or data analytics space.
Well at least I’m trying not to be. So, I was wondering why I did not see any movement for my financial aid about two weeks ago and called to see why. The financial aid person at SNHU said to
Log into the student aid website and make sure my school code was right, I told her what it was and she said that that wasn’t the right code. I did not understand why it was not because everything had been the same like clockwork year after year and I did not go in and change anything different. So I made an update to the school code. Ok now I have to wait keep in mind it was the holiday ( Memorial Day) So now today I get a notice from the school saying that I needed to send documents of overpayment. “ what documents of overpayment “?? What the heck. Ok called the school … call the loan service and tell them that my account is flagged for overpayment and how do I settle? I cannot get any financial aid until it’s resolved. Called them, “we are not available to take your call” ughhhh. So I will try to call them again tomorrow. Man I have three classes left and this is a bummer. Hopefully when I call it won’t be as bad. My employer also gives me the option to either pay 5550 per year for school reimbursement or pay 400. a month up to 10,000. I picked the 400 to pay down student loans option. I may have to pay cash for the rest of my courses or wait till next year for school reimbursement. I was on a role. Blahhhh
Praying everything will be ok
