I took a punch and tried to get the rollout but it wouldn’t budge, I have maybe 1500 rounds thru it and this is the first time I’ve tried to remove the weight. Or is there a company that sells a BCG that doesn’t have a weight in it?
Used the 85 locking piece for a few rounds and wouldn’t cycle at all using 147gr Remington and a strake9 can I assume it was the low back pressure but I don’t know. Switched to the 110 locking piece and ran without issue for the final 90ish rounds with both 115 and 147gr Remington. Only other roller delay I have is a mat9k from matador arms and it’s softer than that for sure haven’t shot a kuna so would like to compare it to that next. Only complaints would be the front pin comes all the way out of you push it far enough and the safety is not the best could be just mine but felt real gritty.
Looking for a stock to replace the brace that came with it, I have the A3 telescoping stock but it’s too narrow to fit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
It was good for the last 300 rounds or so no malfunctions at all using exomags then the bolt started to get caught and wouldn’t chamber a round. At the point now where it won’t chamber the first round round if empty I have to put one in the chamber by hand then close the bolt and insert the magazine and it’ll fire a few rounds before a FTF. Has around 900 rounds and has been having these issues for the past 150 or so rounds.
In the market for a new can (signed up for a new credit card) and was looking at these two I’ve seen a few comparison videos both seem like a good choice, wondering if anyone that has either or both can say which one has the better flow rate or low back pressure. Sound isn’t the biggest concern I’d rather get the one that spits the least amount of cancer at me. Any insight would be appreciated.
The closest place to me is charging 150 to do engraving per SBR but if I was just to get a symbol or design of my choosing which would take up same amount of space they said it’s 50. Is there something about a shop doing it vs me doing it at home? They’re saying it’s a fee from the ATF and they don’t profit off of it. First time getting one engraved just trying to figure out why extra charge, any in would be helpful.
Update: guess these guys are robbing people blind thank you everyone for saving me money. It was some employee who told me that I know the owner I’m going to ask them, but will definitely call around and see some other prices thanks again.
I was debating getting the Herrington arms comp but wanted to see if anyone else is running something different. Doesn’t care about being fully flush to the frame as long as it can fit, I have the strike industries quad comp going to see if that fits when I get the frame in the mail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
It happens occasionally when firing it won’t feed the next round, I wouldn’t consider it a FTF because it only won’t feed because it’s just not enough power to push the round in when cycling. If I were to manually rack it slowly the bolt gets caught up in the area in the picture, I tried cleaning it good I usually do after every range trip only have around 900 rounds total. Had this happened to anyone else?
Trying to avoid paying a lot to have my SBRs engraved at the place that does it near me, I might just use a dremel for the ones I don’t care about but I have a few I would like to have them nice and neat. Has anyone tried the cheap laser machines on Amazon? Read some things saying you need at least 10w to get them to work on metal other things saying you can do it will 5w or less even just takes longer. I have zero engraving experience any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.
Was looking for one for a while finally found it in stock at RichmandTactical. Don’t have any equipment to test the sound but with 115gr it sounded really good, waiting on more ammo to see how it sounds next to a regular AR9. Only a quick trip only 100 rounds but 0 malfunctions had Remington herters and Winchester all feed fine didn’t do any defense ammo yet just wanted to put some rounds down range.
H&R colt lower, PSA trigger, stern defense RAB-AD, GRS (A5 tube RB5000HP 2 kynshot weights), gauntlet arms stock, matrix arms upper, Novox research x-sd barrel kit, Midwest industries sp series handguard, flow 9k, eotech DCR and g45 magnifier.
I have the flow9k looking for another can that doesn’t have a lot of back pressure, suggestions would be greatly appreciate.

Waiting on my 17 to arrive wondering if u should order a new plate I’ve heard mixed reviews about the oem one that comes with it.
