A christian metal band is sueing Netflix over KPop Demon Hunters trademark infringement. ...Wat?

I never expected I'd come across something like this. The article link is down below.

I do find it strange that you wouldn't make sure you knew what band you were buying tickets to before spending five hundred bucks on it.

Also, there's a Christian version of every musical genre isn't there.

"Longtime Christian metal band Demon Hunter have filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Netflix, Netflix Studios, and concert promoter AEG Presents over KPop Demon Hunters.

The lawsuit alleges that the similar names have already caused consumer confusion, including one family who requested a refund after mistakenly purchasing $500 worth of tickets to the band’s concert, believing they were taking their five- and six-year-old daughters to a show related to KPop Demon Hunters."

I think Jimothy the Raccoon would have fit perfectly in Home Movies.

Jason absolutely would have befriended Jimothy. I would love to see him in Home Movies animation stule.

It makes me so happy seeing people come together celebrating Jimothy the Raccoon with love and creativity. We can still make the world a beautiful place. Sometimes all it takes is a little raccoon to do it. 🦝🦝🦝

Bought some CDs for the first time in a while. I'm so happy.

While I've been on vacation, I was able to visit a used books and music store I hadn't visited in a long time. For the first time in a while, I picked up some CDs. I'm excited about them.

It makes more sense to me why William Shatner is making a metal album.

I had no idea he and his daughter had been battling cancer. The guy stared death in the face and won. He clearly doesn't care and is doing whatever he wants. Good for him.

I found a wonderful retro poster of our Solar System in a shop.

Hello! I saw this in a shop once. It's been a while, but I came across the picture I took. It looks retro, and I love this. Does anyone have any information about this poster. I'm going to try and find one elsewhere.

It's my birthday. (45)

I'm at the middle of middle-aged. Aging is weird.

Let's all look at my cool dinosaur shirt. 😆

Why don't you just make it winter?

It's a bit later in the evening, but I hope those who celebrate the 4th have a safe and fun holiday.

William Shatner is making a heavy metal album.

Honestly, I don't care if it'll be good or bad. I mean, why not make a metal album. Christopher Lee did it. Either way, it'll be interesting.

44yrs. Been in the yard in the heat today. The air conditioning feels so good. Lol!

It's been an odd day. I've been cleaning up a relatives yard after a crazy storm.

I'm hot and weird looking, but whatever, I'm myself here.. I'm going to get an expensive coffee now. 😆

"Bruce Springsteen Duped Us All" according to Aaron Lewis.

I don't even care about Lewis' politics anymore. Either he's breathtakingly stupid, or he's just trying to take advantage to build up to his new song. Maybe both. Lewis really got hurt over a song that got big when I was three. This is just cheap theatre, and it's hilarious. 😆

Reported from "Consequence.

"Aaron Lewis claims Bruce Springsteen "duped us all" with "Born in the U.S.A," which he calls one of the most "anti-American songs ever."

"I think that he is a disgusting display of not appreciating what was handed to him, in this country as being an American, the success that he has had. The fact that he duped us all with one of the most anti-American songs ever and called it 'Born in the USA' as some sort of celebration of how great it is to be born in the USA. I'm angry at myself for not seeing it for so long and actually giving him, in my mind, the credit of being a representation of blue-collar America.

Staind singer Aaron Lewis has released a new MAGA anthem called "Give My Country Back."

Via the magazine "Consequence. "

It looks like it's one of those, "if you don't like it here, then you can just leave the country" kind of songs. There is nothing to really focus on, except it's Lewis being, well, Lewis.

I'm not surprised Aaron Lewis was going to make another song. I'm sure Todd will have his take on it eventually.

Here's my pin collection.

I've been officially slowly collecting enamel pins for just over two years, but some of these I've had for years. I love it.

It's all from childhood, high school, college, art shows, a few shops i frequent, a concert, Etsy, and a couple of cons.

And yes, that is an original "Book It" pin from the late 80s. I was an avid book reader when I was a child.

Hopefully, the pictures are decent here.
