Traffic Rant

I just need to rant for a second. This is our first year experiencing school traffic combined with regular Bentonville traffic. And can I say… what the ( explicit word) is this fresh hell??!! I am so mad right now. What should have been a 20 minute round trip was over an hour! AN HOUR! We literally drove a straight, did a little loopy loop to the school and went back up the road. GPS time: 10 ‘minutes both ways. Bentonville time: A bloody hour.
I don’t know what needs to be done but this can not be life. They can not promote this city as a new hub and the city roads can not support the people.
Don’t even get me started about how we were almost hit several times. 😒
Is there a plan to fix this or is this life now?

Utility

Edit: the family is all set. Thank you.

I have a family that has an electric shut off notice for tomorrow. They work full time but for this one time need, they cannot find assistance. They can make a partial payment tomorrow but where else can they go for assistance?

What are my options?

I have to make $2500 by Tuesday or face eviction. What are my options because there is no rental assistance in this area. Do I work a full time job? Yes.
No benefits and I pay for everything out of pocket ( as I should) but this economy is tough. Currently seeking another promotion and a second job.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

All the signs are there but where do I go?

I am at that three year mark and all the signs are there. It’s time to move on. Things are getting progressively worse at work and I have the option to work for myself. However, I see what this economy is doing to entrepreneurs. My skill set is so wide and in fact I am so adaptable, I can ALMOST take on any manager role.
So where to go? What field is hiring?

Former Walmart employees- Where did you go?

This is not a post about bashing the company so no negative comments.
If you’re a former Walmart employee, which company or field did you go into?

My kiddo wants me to Remarry…Im not ready.

I left him before she was born. I literally ran to another state. Years later, she goes to a good school, has a good home but it’s just the two of us. She wants a dad and siblings. Me: I want companionship as well. However, cannot imagine letting a man into my home. Most of the men in my area are business professionals, well connected and rich. The type to get away with “murder”.
I keep imagining everything that could go wrong. What if I let the wrong person in? I have survived every pain but I could not possibly allow anyone to hurt her.
I also know that it is social death for us if I remain single parent household in this area. What do I do? And how are other people moving on/ remarrying so quickly?

The quietest neighborhood

Which neighborhood is the quietest? I prefer to not hear or see my neighbor. I work long hours, life is packed so I would prefer to have our home my my sanctuary and live in peace.

Bentonville VS Other Towns

I relocated for a promotion. However, I decided to rent for the first year instead of buying a house right away. When it comes to settling down, which town do you prefer — Bentonville, Rogers, Pea Ridge, etc.?

Trespassing sign

If I post a no trespassing signs on a property that I rent, will that signage carry any weight? I constantly see my neighbors post about soliciting and people entering their yard despite the signs.

Pet sitting job

Looking for a pet sitting job that I can do with my work from home role. I have a lot of flexibility and would be able to care for small dogs and let them out to play in the yard. Any recommendations on finding dog moms and dads?
Hours: 10am- 6pm.

I was recently promoted 🎉 . Which is great but in order to reach my financial goals(kid’s college fund, savings, vacations), I am looking for a part-time flexible position that does not require adding miles to my car. Any suggestions?
