Carnosa first bloom ever at six years of age!
I have read that some of them need to mature to this age in order to bloom. I’m thrilled!

Are you someone who frequent one or more of our dog parks? What are your thoughts on people bringing young children to the park.
I manage a medical clinic. 99% of the plants are mine from home, and there are about 50 of them ranging in size from tiny windowsill babies to six foot tall fiddle leaf ficus. I had two beautiful delicate ferns in an open glass vintage terrarium that one of our patients stole. I’m trying to tell myself “it’s just a plant”, but I’m so upset rn. I try hard to make our clinic a homey space and I take excellent care of all the plants what with the watering, pruning, repotting, and fertilizing. Just ranting to people who might feel my pain
EDIT
We do not know which client took it. Our cameras were down for two weeks. This is not a joke post; I just didn’t know which flair to categorize this. A few clients have asked if they could take them, and I’d always gently reply “no”. I’m the office manager. Our staff are close knit. I’ve been here for almost 20 years - it’s not a staff theft. I’m very grateful for all the comments, I feel less unhinged about it but still pretty upset. We’re running a practice deeply rooted in trust so it hurts.
This is Johanna Gehrisch’s Arthur Sweater. I made a post about it last week and the comments were such that I needed to attempt a second blocking. The pink yarn is wool ease solids, which is a combination of wool and acrylic. The black dots are merino wool. I think that the puckering after the first wet blocking session was due to the acrylic in the blend so this time I applied steam very gently so as not to kill the acrylic and I’m so happy with the result!
Felt like it took forever but I think it was just because I couldn’t wait to wear it. This pattern is so well written! I made it with wool ease solid blend in canyon sunset and black mohair from Temu for the dots. Love the oversized fit!
