I'm writing a story that takes place in 1880s Texas, but I don't know if I can use a certain word.

I'm writing about a black gay man in 1880s Texas, and obviously people were super racist, so I was going to have them use the word "n*gro" referring to him, and the word f****t, but I'm concerned it'll come off as I'm being racist, when I am not! But it's a historical fiction about the couple.

I would also like to note I am neither homophobic (I myself am pan) nor am I racist, I am just going for historical accuracy.

Should I use different words, censor it somehow, or just go for it?

Colouring book from Walmart. I don't know if it's AIor not, but I'm hoping it isn't.

I got this colouring book at Walmart the other day, and I'm thumbing through it to find a page, but one of the couple's hands looked like their fingers were really odd and didn't look like they were made by a human, so I'm wondering and hoping it isn't AI.

The first picture is the one that raised red flags.

The cover also strikes me as a little off.

Edit: please don't shame me for not being able to tell, I was hurrying when I grabbed it and I didn't look very thoroughly at it because I've been busy. I realise now it should have been clearer to me, but still.
