Is it normal for a father to call his daughter a egoistic bitch because she went home without him?
The context for the title is that when I was 13 (this is covid times) I went out to get groceries with my dad. He told me to get a few items and said that he is going for a walk and told me to get in line for billing after I'm done getting my stuff, and so I did, I got the stuff that was required and waited in line. I waited for about an hour and atp the cashier started getting kind of irritated with me since it was almost closing time of the mart. I didn't have a phone but I some how had enough money to pay for the items so I bought the items with my own money. After that I waited for him outside the mart for a good 15 min. That's when I saw him walk passed the mart I called out for him, he apparently "didn't hear" it and walked completely walk by me...... so I assumed he heard me and that he wanted to stroll for a bit and I was shit scared of the Covid and let me remind you I WAS A KID! So I went home walking since we lived close enough. He got home and started yelling at my mom saying that I was a egoistic bitch! and harassed my mom till I came out of my room and then called me a egoistic bitch to my face and started listing off the ways I was a disappointment to the family and that I am the worst thing that happened to me!
The cherry on top being that my mom didn't even try to defend me or step in, she just let him yell profanities to me until he was tired and I was a crying snot filled mess.
I am still mad about this because they keep on saying I am a spoiled brat and that they have been the best parents! Which is completely false for many more reasons but I am bringing this up now because they are forcing me to go on a trip with middle sister (there is a whole different story with her but in short she told me to kill myself on my 8th birthday and pushed into a open fire (she was 18 at the time)) and her husband for 2 days! Which I don't want to go on. Dad is now saying that I will ruin her marriage if I don't go on the trip, for which I honestly don't see any relation to. Like I don't think the two things are related. (I'm from India if it somehow helps)
