Insane performance boost re9? 9070 xt
Is this because of the new driver update. It's only using 250 watts when it used to use 330 watts. My settings didnt change, still max settings and im getting more fps.

My brother has a 9070 (non xt) and he's getting 45 fps in the menus which is way less than my 9070 XT at 60 fps in the menus. We're both running the same settings with 1440p epic. Res scale 100%. Is that normal for a 9070? Bought him that.
Edit: Found the issue. Shaders weren't loader for my brother.
I was extracting downloaded some of my photos from Google photos and I was extracting the zip file using windows default unzipped and it took nearly an hour (52 mins). Then I used 7zip for the rest and it only took 12 mins? How is that even possible. It's so dumb. I've been using the default unzipper for so long and I could've saved so much time.
It even made me fear zipping files for fear of data corruption cause I've had that happen so often. Then 7zip does it so fast, and without corruption?!
I'm so frustrated that I've endured the default extraction tool for so long 😫.
I'm not going for it because it goes so slowly. I don't want to spend 2 hours just tapping at my screen not even knowing if I'm actually gonna get the reward.
This single building has a population of 10000 and the traffic for it is really bad because pedestrians keep blocking the cars.
So many times my guy doesn't grab something when it obviously should. And when he grabs something when I dont want to grab it.
And I hate the exploration part of the game. Like I investigate to get how to get into the building and there's like a single window on the second floor that I need to spot on a massive building. It's so tedious.
I bought this cheap kingspec SSD on newegg back in 2024 for 40 CAD. Since using it, I have had issues where if I had over 60% of it used, my entire system would be completely unstable. Today I accidentally downloaded a game that pushed it way past 600 GB and the entire SSD got completely bricked mid download. I lost all my files and can't even use the SSD. I reached out to customer support to see if they can at least replace it. Thankfully, I only lost game data. Would've sucked if I had important documents on this.
9070 xt. Keeps freezing every few seconds after a few minutes of gameplay. And it gets worse the longer I play. I even tried running very low graphics and running at extreme underclock cause I thought it was a memory leak but I'm still getting the same issue.
I'm getting 3400 Mhz and 1050 mV stable. For 9070 xt
