Casual Racism

Hey guys,

I play on Australian servers 99% of the time, but when I have to play on a US server, I run into a lot of people with intentionally borderline racist names or tags.

In the past, I ran into a squad of guys with the tag [NGGR] who laughed their way through an excuse of it being a North Georgia clan, as they spoke about slavery the whole time.

Last night on an Australian server, there were two US guys who had variations of a first name, but their last names were Sniger, so for example Smelly Sniger.

I only ever get this from US players, and on Australian servers everyone usually bands together to get rid of those players pretty quickly. Is it more acceptable or seen as edgy in US culture compared to other places in the world?

Feeding Kookaburras

Hey everyone!

We have recently been visited by a pair of kookaburras who now fly past once or twice each day.

Initially, our plan was to attract some crows with cashews, but the kookaburras started turning up, and after a very quick search, I found something saying they like minced meat (I know).

All subsequent searches have said minced meat is not good for them for a number of reasons, so we went out and bought some dried mealworms, dry dog food, and a dog sausage.

All of these options were rejected by our guests. They just stared blankly at everything we put in front of them.

Because we wanted to keep feeding them, I called WIRES to ask for suggestions.

The lady said the main issue with minced meat is that it will make their beaks brittle if it gets stuck on there, so to cover the minced meat in crushed up dry pet food so it doesn't stick on their beaks. We tried that, and it was rejected again.

As a side note, the lady didn't mention anything about dependency or issues with their digestion, even though I asked specifically if feeding them minced meat would have these negative effects.

I need some advice here on what else I can try. I've heard people suggesting live bait like worms, or snake food like mice.

Thanks in advance!

[KCD2] I Think This Is The Funniest Game I've Ever Played

As the title says. I find myself laughing out loud at the dialogue. My wife thinks I'm crazy when she hears me cracking up from the other room and then comes in to find me playing.

That's all.

[KCD2] Did I Do The Wrong Thing?

Hey guys,

I don't think I'm spoiling anything as this is quite early in the game, but I recently did a mission where I got drunk with the Cumans near the nomad camp.

When I left to get more alcohol with that guy, he passed out. I had just learned stealth takedowns and had acquired a dagger, so when I looked at his unconscious body it gave me a prompt to slaughter him. Obviously, I did that. Then, I figured I might as well do the same to his entire camp, so that's what happened.

One of them refused to die, and I never got the prompt to kill him, so I'm assuming he is integral to a story line but I fled so have no idea where he is now. Last time I saw him, he was naked and covered in blood.

My question is, did I do the wrong thing or can I just play the game however I want without any major consequences?

Also, now I have an angry face at the nomad camp on the map. How can I fix this?

School Phrases from the 90's

Hey guys,

I need some help remembering some of the sayings kids used to use in the 90's or early 2000's. For reference, I went to school in Sydney.

Two I remember were "do youuuu lickadickaday?" and also when someone said they loved something, we would say "why don't you marry it?"

There are heaps but I've forgotten them all!

My Perspective Has Changed

Hey guys,

When I first heard about this game, I was super pumped. I even took the day off work to play it on release day. My first thoughts were that it looked amazing, but honestly I had a bit of buyer's regret. The game didn't really grab me the same way Returnal did.

Even after finishing the game, I wasn't completely sold on it. That is until I turned Returnal back on yesterday.

In almost every way, Saros is the superior game. The areas I prefer Returnal are purely subjective as well.

The weapons are amazing. They have everything Returnal offers, and much more. The level designs are more diverse, and the gameplay is more smooth and addictive.

Returnal will always be the GOAT, but this game built upon that perfect foundation and took it to an entirely different level.

I can't articulate how fun and satisfying this game is.

Once they eventually release the tower equivalent, this game will be untouchable.

Ok bye!

I Take Back Everything I Said About Which Is My Favourite Weapon...

I posted a few weeks ago saying the Repeater Crossbow was the best weapon in the game. I'm trying to get platinum, so it forces you to use all the weapons (great idea).

I mopped the Architect in about 80 seconds yesterday with one of the Chakrams.

I'm unable to post the video, but it was surreal.

PSA - Make sure you give all the weapons a go to really enjoy the game!

Lucky Chips

Hey guys!

I was sitting down after a long day with my wife yesterday, eating chips. I handed her a chip which had been folded over itself, and my psyche was flooded with the memory of the concept of the "lucky chip".

Did anyone else grow up with that? I feel like it's died out, but that could just be because I am no longer 7.
