199.7#. I’m finally not obese—I’m just grotesquely overweight! (47m)

I had to stop my starting strength program and switch to treadmill cardio and serious focus on diet. Will be picking the weights back up shortly too.

edit: sorry for misunderstanding the point of this sub. I came here to state how I was happy for my progress, not to have people all telling me I’m doing it wrong. Look, I’m glad for you that you have more muscle mass than I do, or have a better workout program than I do, but I don’t really care that that you’re otherwise offended by me being happy to finally get under 200.

Comatose and hospice patients, or the recently deceased people of Kentucky, would you say Mitch McConnell is doing a superb job representing you right now?

It’s been two weeks since the totally not AI hospital pic, and I figured we’d get another totally not AI pic by now. Has anybody seen Mitch recently?

Wife and I are planning a 10 day trip to Netherlands and Belgium at the beginning of September…

I just put in orders for a ULA Dragonfly 36L (Robic) and Matador GlobeRider35. they haven’t arrived yet and I’m second guessing my purchases. Do these seem reasonable for first time traveling with only backpack carry-ons (not looking for a bag finder exclusive recommendation)?

We typically have roller carry ons, but read that train travel can be a pain with them once you’re there. This will also be the first time using compression packing cubes. Made a purchase for Eagle Creek S/M sets. Are there other things we should really be considering like specifically for toiletries, power cords/adapters, anything to help pack for this?

Oh, we typically always plan on doing laundry once per trip. We also generally trend toward wearing casual semi-techy type clothing, like brands from REI. so most of our clothing is pretty compressible. I also very quickly threw a general pack’s worth of clothing and accompaniments and came out around 15 lbs that’s just a rough guesstimate for what our actual pack for this trip would be though

Any responses are greatly appreciated!

Question about selling a GS Mini Koa

I have a GS Mini Koa that I purchased around 2019 that I never play anymore. It’s still in perfect condition and has lived in its case for most of its life.

I want to sell it, but I’m not sure if I want to hassle with trying to calculate what shipping costs would be through a site like Reverb. also, being a lefty, I’m not sure how quickly it would even sell. I’m also considering driving to a guitar center, but equally uncertain about selling to them and getting a reasonable price.

I’m guessing I’m overthinking this, but I would love any suggestions or experiences other lefties have had selling comparably priced guitars.

New to this and looking for campaigns to play through

Background: Several years ago I attempted to get into Ironsworn and Colostle and found those games didn’t really suit me. my issue was that every roll or card draw seemed like a left turn and the “story” was just way too open.

Flash forward: I’ve been getting into DnD again with a couple groups, but I have an itch to do some solo dungeon crawling. One thing that appeals to me is to work on illustrating a dungeon while I go. I’m not really into the whole journaling aspect, other than to keep track of logs and character progression, etc.

For whatever reason, I jumped straight into purchasing physical copies of Ker Nethalas. As I wait for those to come, I’m also looking closely at 4AD and 2d6 Dungeon because I think they both may have some options on pre-written campaign books to follow. I’m thinking following a written campaign may work best for me to avoid my prior solo RPG hangup.

Am I on the right track here? If so, which campaign books and other source books do you recommend I start with? Other suggestions are always welcome.

cheers!
