I’m not really comfortable making a post like this, but I’ve reached a point where I don’t know what else to do. I came to Islamabad recently for a job, and thankfully I found work. My salary is 30,000 PKR and I’m supposed to receive it on 10th September. I had already paid for my necessary expenses after coming here, but unfortunately, I’ve now completely run out of money. For the past 8 days, I’ve been eating only once a day, and on some days I haven’t been able to eat at all. Until yesterday, I was somehow managing and telling myself that I just needed to hold on until salary day, but now even the little I had left for food and daily expenses is gone. It’s starting to affect me badly. I can’t focus properly at work, my sleep is disturbed, and honestly, it’s becoming really difficult to keep going like this. I tried very hard not to ask anyone for help because I didn’t want to put my situation on someone else, but I’ve reached a point where I genuinely need some help. If anyone can help me with even a small amount for food until 10th September, I would be extremely grateful. I’m not asking for anything beyond what I need to get through these days until I receive my salary. If you’re able to help, please DM me. I completely understand that people may want some proof, and I’m willing to provide reasonable proof of my situation and employment. Even if you can’t help financially, if you know of any place in Islamabad where I could get a meal or some temporary food assistance, please let me know. I’m honestly embarrassed to have to write this, but right now I’m choosing to ask for help rather than continue going hungry while trying to work.
