I am new to this acturial field....i have read a few posts where people mention abbout colleges where we are given exemptions for a few exams . Is there any such clg in India as i don't wanna go abroad?

Please tell which one is better (and why) ..consider these points as well along with faculty

1. Period of completion of syllabus before exam

2. Mocks credibility

Though the choice remains with you guys ...apart from the top 20 colleges you guys really spend 20k-30k per month just for DU . Is DU really too hyped in other states? Like i have seen posts people asking asking if lakshmibai or various other colleges are worth travelling from other states (which is an obvious no)...I personally feel that living in delhi is a priviledge at this point for one who is getting tier 2 bottom or tier 3 college . 20k-30k per month is a lot for DU low colleges...Like what aout those who can't afford one ....they have given the reservation but for someone who belongs to them can manage that expense in a city like delhi?

So yes a bit abt me before starting ... i am 18f , just passed 12th and was preparing for ipmat but couldn't make it up in interview. didn't prepare for cuet but got South campus but i knew i deserved more than that so left that. now i am planning to give cm1 and cs1 this april and will be doing bcom from DU SOL (missed sept attempt cuz i was quite sure that i am into an IIM but result wasn't in my favour) . I have conversed with IPOINT and SANKHYIKI that the classes are only on weekends that too only 1.5hrs a day for each exam .

So my concern is that i will be free 5 days a week ....idk what i will be doing during that ....Is actuary something that is easier than CA and should be pursued with a regular degree ....

Is there any course that i can do in those 5 days ?

Should i go for CA instead ? cuz its classes are 6 days a week that too 5 hrs a day ...

Also since it will e an SOL degree so will it be difficult for me to find a job/internship even after clearing 3-4 exams .

Also i have heard that initially referrals are reqd in corporate world for freshers else it is really tough for one to find a job . I have a few CAs in corporate from family who could refer me but not any actuary who could be the one?

(I am personally biased more towards actuary as a career but these conditions are bothering me and making me feel that i should go for CA instead?)

i am free with the exams now my parents want me to do something useful . Since the certification and courses have considerable value when it comes to interviews or any purpose in future , i wanted to know the best source to do it .Can i do it from any institute available offline or there is any particular source or site that offers the same and is reputed . i have heard from many that the certificates from sites such as coursera have lost their value . I don't know where to start from ...kindly guide

EDIT- i am not doing it for the sake of certificate but it is helpful in my father's business work...adding that too CV is just a plus point that i don't wanna miss

I got to know about MUNs in 12th itslef and managed to be a part of an online MUN . though i started as a secreteriat member, due to my leadership skills and consistency (luck as well) i was promoted to SEC GEN . No hate but i barely know about MUNs the reason being i had to shift academically and it was the only MUN i did (the first and the last) . Is it risky to mention it as panel may ask about it in worst case scenario ?

Guys how come you guys have overcome the blunders made on 4th may . I can't get over it . Literally its been 3 damnn days and i am stuck over it , am neither be able to study for upcoming exams nor anything else . It keeps hurting me ki jb 2 saal mein exam nhi nikla to 15 din mein koi shaktiya to mil nhi jaengi mujhe jo mein aur koi exam nikal lu. upar se ipmat mein to bs 30,000 bache the cuet mein to 15 lakh hai . Am just done with all this yr koi itna gawaar keise ho skta hai like literally 2 saal ragda tha gande wala aur aaj bhi vahi khadi hu jaha 2 saal pehele khadi thi . na boards ke lie dhang se pdha na 11th 12th enjoy ki aur mila kya? kuch nhi . all this just for nothing?? life ka sabse wrong decision tha ipmat dena

someone please tell the best mocks source (only for maths). and it would be really helpful if anyone of you could trecommend to watch some yt videos for tricks to solve ques faster as time management is the real problem in this domain.
