This was my first big knitting project with pattern. I finished it about 3-4 years ago took me about 2 years to complete because I kept setting it down. I wasn't using markers either at the time so I was making it hard on myself. This blanket taught me a lot about knitting and working with yarn.

For example bringing a piece of the yarn from the blanket to get the correct shade match.

I started knitting when I was in elementary school to make small blankets for animal shelters. Didn't start pattern experimenting until I was 17. Was maybe 19 or 20 when I finished it. Came such a long way just for this beauty.
