the amount of additional stuff this farm gives is crazy
it's been haşf an hour and already got 100 and 250 gold which is also crazy
not to mention that this farm also gives quite a bit of xp
i only used fans 3 spawners cursed earth and 8x8x12 area for the farm
got like 300 iron in the time
this farm is so good
I first started TFG after watching Hecuba's TFG videos.
I already knew all about terrafirmacraft from other modpacks, and i thought it would be a
good idea to try it out with the most popular* tech mod.
I never tried out a tech mod before so i was excited.
I didn't know the modpack would be a checkpoint in my life.
after i started, i moved out to whole-nother country
and i fell in love with GT and TFG
I played this modpack for hundreds of hours.
This modpack is actually the reason i started checking out reddit (it's not a good thing i guess, but for someone like me who doesn't use much social media it is big)
This modpack means a lot to me but i just have to leave, to check out other modpacks
i kinda over dramatized it didn't i? :D
more i progressed more i spaced up things and made the base look cleaner first floor is still looking like that but i'm too lazy to fix that :D
one of my favorite GT bases for sure.
walls and ceiling are kinda dirty looking because i started next to a rouge like dungeon and for some reason decided to stay there.
the ore veins also look bad.
i'm thinking to make a blaze farm to get a lot of passive resources and it feels worth to do it overall
i set up a crop manager system to automately harvest glow flower to extract it and get a lot of gold and redstone but it doesn't seem like it harvesting mature ones it is set to harvest mature
I usually like to kinda speedrun as far as i can go and restart so i won't make the same mistakes in packs. but i want to act my GTNH world like my forever world.
I'm trying to passive a lot of stuff and make the base cozy.
I got basic gases on passive, a large benzene setup, on demand polyethylene/polyvinyl chloride & stuff with 2 maxed out EBF's.
it says in the quest book that i'll need a butt ton of gold so that glowstone seeds gonna get handy.
idk if i should go for it and use my stainless steel or make more stuff passive
idk what to do i can't search item that i don't have i was going to make some turbines but i can't cuz i can't search im kinda stuck
when i checked the controls tab and it doesn't show up but i know the mod is there because it shows up in the mod options page.
I'm about to get cheaper boards with iron 3 chloride but chlorine is kinda hard to get. Like i passived hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen for early chemistry but i can't passive chlorine and it is pretty important for acids and stuff.
why does it require kanthal coils im i supposed to put 4 lv energy hatches? im in 2.8.4
I made a wood farm with dark oak with no weed (at least i think so) but weeds spawned any way and they are spreading what do i do?
Now that i'm properly sitting at MV with a good power generation, i want to get the healing axe. I got everyting diamonds, obviously iron, enchantment table all that stuff except for the division sigil. All i know is that you can find them in vanilla dungeons but idk how am i supposed to find one. I searched a bunch of caves underground and on the ground thosands of blocks to find one in a random structure but i couldn't where do i get one?
this damn enderIO pipes ain't work or what? regular GT item pipes work but whenever i try to use item conduits that i hardly earned just doesn't work i guess? centrifuges are auto outputed into extract ender io item conduits and they should be inputed into compressors back with the white list filter that was also expensive.
What am i doing wrong man? I just wanted to upgrade my pyrolise oven.
I even had my pipes and conveyor modules ready man.
Some of the quest reward is early game give these ore berries and idk how to use them.
It said like they need the block that they are the ore berry of but icdon't get it.
When i searched on YouTube it only showed newer versions with or berry bushes.
Also can you use crop manager with these? If that's so it's kinda op
When i first started everything required so much grind and finally when i got to steam age there was just so much to do with multiblocks, fluid tanks and stuff for buffering steam and it was so fun!
In LV those expensive circuit parts were a lot cheaper when i got access to the assembler annealed copper and it felt so good because it was just really rewarding. Like every grind in this modpack is worth the grind because you won't have to grind again for the same thing after it ends.
Also i downloaded addons like SimpleStorage and TwistSpace who made the grind a lot more bearable.
TwistSpace large solar boiler is what attracted me, I made two spending hours and i thought they would be enough for MV.
Hell yeah they are more than enough dude, i can run my EBF without running out of steam now.
After i got my circuit assembler, i decided to expand my base and decorate for the first time and there is just many many blocks to use it's crazy.
Now at MV, i don't know where to start. I know electrolyzer is the best first machine but what after that? Any suggestions?
i rushed circuit asembler until i learned that i needed an EBF.
My base is kinda ugly but i'll decorate after bilding a powerplant for MV
right now i'm at day 117.
any suggestions for late LV?
I downloaded shaders after testing the modpack a little. After enabling shaders and the video option said that it was on, my performance and my game didn't seem to be affected.
Maybe i need a different mod?
Also, i don't like the old textures and i downloaded resourcepacks to and they also didn't work.
What am i doing wrong?
after downloading GTNH i did some config changes and added addons but the modpack is just not loading
when i close the window it gives RAM error but i'm giving 16 gigs what do i do?
it just stays in a black screen.
