K60 for winter?
Is the kantamus 60L big enough for winter camping in the woods plus bushcraft camping in winter?
Thanks!
Is the kantamus 60L big enough for winter camping in the woods plus bushcraft camping in winter?
Thanks!
I do hiking and bushcraft and I’m not a lightweight hiker. When I camp in the woods with bushcraft style my k40 weighs up to 22kg with food and water and could get heavier for days trips.
I can get both packs at the same price so its more what I prefer. I like the small and longer style on the JXL and sometimes think that the k60 is a bit deep and wide that makes the weight further away from the body (is the theory right?)
Hope some off you guys have experience in both
Im planning to buy a k60 but if someone is selling a jääkäri xl I would gladly buy that instead
I know this is a kinda biased community to ask I but I want your honest opinion.
Before this I have had a k40 so I love the kantamus line but the kajka is kinda intresting to
I’m planning to sell my k40 and side pockets to buy the k60 and i would like to know how much money I would get ish if I sell it
Kantamus 40
- near to none marks of use
- bought this spring
Side pockets
- near to non marks of use
-bought this spring
I bought the 40L this spring and very quickly bought two 8 side liters pockets and now this summer I bought the askare second hand for better organizing. But still it feels like it’s to small. The whole backpack gets almost full when I pack for 1/2 day overnight trip I the woods when I need saw and axe mm.
I need your guys help to determine if I should do what I’m about to say or not.
I have an idea to sell my kantamus and my fdf sleeping pad or askare (which one?) and then put in a little bit money and buy the kantamus 60L
Do you think this is a good idea and how much money do I get from a kantamus 40L plus askare or fdf sleeping pad? Everything has near to non wear
Hi,
I have a kantamus 40L with two 8L side pouches, I’m interested into the askare hip bag but the problem is that my compression straps are to short to go around the side pouches PLUS the askare so my question is, is there someone that knows a different way to attach the askare?
I would gladly like a buy list for what to buy to make your ide on my backpack
I like that chiruca has vibram and gtx but it’s not full leather and I’m planning to have these shoes for a long time and the whole lip is textile so when the gtx stops working the shoes is not gonna be water prof anymore
Which should I take ?
I cant decide wich i Should buy. I first looked at ember but i think i want micarta handel.
I want to upgrade my duke 125. Im planning on to buy a racing air filter, slip on, and one extra teath on the back sprocket.
How much diffrence Will it make?
I bought this knife three years ago it only cost 20dollars and it is a swedish made knife with half tang and carbon steel. It has Held up perfect, the blade is super Sharp and holds the sharpnes for a long time.
One time when i was out camping my axe was so bad that i couldn’t chop the wood so i took the ok4 and batond a wood that was 13cm thick with the back of the axe. It got a bit beat up on the spine but other wise the knife was fully functional.
If your tight on money or just dont want to spend to much on a knife this is the right one
I hike bushcraft and survival training what tarp of these two is the wat to go ?
From the beginning i choose the shimano bb 7-25g for my first good all around combo but now i discoverd Daiwa 24 prorex X spin. Should i take power jig or versatile for my reel?
Right know i have a 10-30g super bad telescopik rod from abu garcia and my Question is, Should i buy a 7-25g rod or buy a 20-60g ish pike road instead and use both?
I live in sweden and fish for pike and Perch
If you think i Should get a tougher combo and still use my old 10-30 i would really like som help to find a baitcaster combo for the 20-60g range.
BUDGET 250 dollars ish
