My side yard has a mixture of Kentucky 31 and TTTF (zone 6b central Ohio). I was thinking of scalping it and over-seeding ( and winter seeding) with KBG in the hopes that in time the KBG will crowd out the Kentucky 31. Is that realistic? Id rather not have to remove all the existing grass and reseed it with KBG but I will if Kentucky 31 is that difficult to remove.
