Advice for find a storyteller for a game of newbies?

Hello!

I discovered Blood on the Clocktower through the No Rolls Barred series on YouTube several months ago, but I’ve never played it even though I’ve watched dozens of hours of others playing. There is a board games group close(ish) to me that plays it weekly, but I haven’t found the courage or the time to go yet.

I have my 30th birthday coming up soon, and I have thought about arranging a game with my friends, who have also never played it before, before my party.

Is paying to “hire” a storyteller a thing? I have Googled “professional Blood on the Clocktower Storyteller” without much luck.

Apologies if I have used the wrong tag!

EDIT: The title was meant to be “Advice for finding a storyteller for a game of newbies?”. Please forgive my lack of literacy skills

Eyes glazing over when trying to read?

Does anyone else experience this? I spend most of my time at work kind of looking at my screen absent-mindedly without actually doing anything. It’s like my eyes can’t track the words but they are still looking at the screen.

I spend most of my free time staring into space too, but I also have vision issues that aren’t corrected by glasses (amblyopia and higher order abberations) so my good eye is strained a lot of the time. I don’t know if this is caused by my vision issues or ADHD.

I have currently been unmedicated for the past couple of years but I’ll likely be trying atomoxetine soon.

Was Lyndon B Johnson a good man or a bad man?

I read that he was absolutely instrumental in getting civil rights legislation through, but privately he was racially prejudiced and a sex criminal.
