Hi I am wanting to sell most of my succulent collection but I am unsure of what the prices should be and where to sell them. Has anyone had experience selling their plants? Im trying to make space for some others I am wanting to get😅

Germinating substrate?

I just bought these seeds and im excited to try and grow some pings from seeds. I am just unsure what substrate to use for these. From what I understand I don’t have to do the cold process for them but i want to know which substrate works best for ping seeds if you have had the chance to grow them (: i was thinking maybe doing milled sphagnum moss but im open to any advice

Help paying my tuition

https://gofund.me/1c696becf

Hi, I am wanting to ask for help with payment the remaining balance of $1000 for my upcoming school program. I understand today’s expenses are very high and not everyone can contribute monetarily so a share could go such a long way. Anything is appreciated, I don’t want to have to withdraw from my classes, so I really appreciate anything that could help, I included the school sports email because it shows my initials that are in one of the billing images. I made a gofund me just for everyone’s safety.

[Tenant - US - TX] As a landlord would you accept a tenant with multiple pets?

Hi, i live in TX and have been living in apartment complexes. I currently have 4 cats and I love them dearly but it is exhausting moving every year and just want to settle down in a long term temporary home. I am interested in moving into a rental house or duplex so that my cats aren’t restricted of when they can and cannot play since it would typically bother people. (Cats aren’t active at night) I am just worried that i wont be able to find a landlord that doesnt fall for the cats are destructive stereotype. I have never been late on rent or my bills and have a steady job and so does my partner. Together we make about 100k and we just want to give the cats more space to be themselves. We provide plenty of stimulation that they don’t feel the need to destroy property. In apartment living you have to give a 60 day notice so i like to start looking around 90 days before to have everything ready to go when its time to give notice but also am unsure how far back do realtors get notice that a property will be available. I just want to know if anyone has experienced renting from a private landlord with multiple pets or the opinion of landlords who rent to people with pets.

Edit: as more people are reading this, I hope i am not coming across as trying to take advantage of people or their homes but I am a very paranoid person and very critical when it comes to to my home and safety of my cats so instead of just saying I wouldn’t allow that say what experience made you take that decision so that me as a first timer trying to go through a private LL know what to do, what most people expect when people have pets and such. I am 100% on any LL side when it comes to trying to protect their homes and assets but not everyone is bad so please save your negative thoughts and instead give advice and examples of what YOU would and wouldn’t allow when renting to people with multiple pets

Edit 2: also please give perspective of how you as a landlord build good professional relationships with your tenants, its hard to do that in big complexes where staff is changing constantly and they have 200+ others to also keep up with

Is it splitting?

Noticed this small nub next to the stalk of my burmannii and am wondering if it is about to split? Also i am maturing the stalk so I can get seeds and it is pretty big already and developed and am wondering how it is going to affect the plant since they are annual plants but also I do want a split one since they look so cool. Also should I cut the smaller one to avoid loosing two mature plants?

What am I doing wrong?

This is my pulchella 52A and out of all of my pygmy sundews this one seems to be doing poor, not creating dew and now turning pale ); it looks like 2 of these are starting to flower but I keep it in the same conditions all my other carnivorous plants are in and this is the only one struggling. This one does seem to have alot of algae on top but my pale pink also has some just the moss hides it very well. Is it normal for the pulchella to look like this?

Are they in their succulent phase?

I am a bit unsure of how to tell if they are in that phase since they used to be just a tad bit flatter. The first two pictures are now and the last two is when i got them. I highlighted the ones im talking about in blue in the first picture

Will they be ok?

I ordered these Pygmy plants and I received them yesterday, but they seem to be a bit beat up. Personally I do not like the way they are potted but I am scared of hurting them more if I do. Should I wait it out for them to pep up a bit ? Or do they look like they look too bad?

Carnivorous Bowls

Just redid my carnivorous garden bowls since the first set up stressed out both my pings and sundews. I separated them and just wanted to show off. So in love, can’t wait until they fully establish🩷

Is it time to behead?

My succulent has been growing alot but it looks like it is becoming very lopsided. I bought it already a bit leaned over but it had other stems coming from the bottom so I decided to separate them. Now this big one I feel like it is time to cut it but does the stem grow anything after cutting it?

Do they look burnt or just stress color?

Hi I have this little setup with some sundews and pings. They have different substrates and the pings are raised laying on a peat/sand mixture. I have them under the same grow lights but I am worried the pings look a little burnt. They are under both white and pinkish white barrina t5 lights. I keep the 3 strips around 7 inches above the plants. Just want to get some opinions on how healthy they look

Has anyone experienced this?

Hi! i just recently got diagnosed with ADHD combination and while I already take bupropion for anxiety/depression the psychiatrist decided to add atomoxetine 40mg to see if that would work for me. I have been taking it for about a week but yesterday I started feeling some really bad eye pressure on the right side of my face that expanded to my eye’s surrounding area to the cheekbone. This only happened on the right side but it cause me to start feeling super nauseous and possibly the worst headache I have ever experienced. I am waiting for a call back to discuss this side effect with my psychiatrist since I can’t find anyone say they have experienced this before. So I am posting to see if anyone has heard or felt something similar?

▲ 1 r/Debt

I am thinking of filing bankruptcy due to a recent medical problem I had that made my debt sky rocket from 5k to 25k. Now I am 23 and I make about 3500 a month but I am barely surviving since i have a car note (under my moms name) but I pay it along with my insurance. Also have rent/utilities and my medicine expenses. After everything i end up with about 200$ leftover every paycheck which go into gas, food, and my cats necessities. I live with my boyfriend which makes it manageable but to live off 200$ every two weeks but our finances are separate. Now, I am getting soo many bill collector calls due to unpaid medical bills and it is from multiple departments. It is very stressful and am unsure of what do to, would it be a good idea to file just to avoid getting sued by bill collectors? And how does it affect me in the future?

I recently bought some cotton candy pings (about 10 small ones) and I have 3 drosera spatulatas and I was thinking of making a bog but I am seeing mixed reviews on wether they can be placed together. Is there any compatibility between these if i want to make them be in a bog or terrarium? I was wanting to create something like the picture I added in the comments
