Honda express running hot? 170c - 180c while cruising

I got my 77' express up and running. It has a 70cc DR kit and mlm people's pipe. Im running an arbeo sha 15.15 carb with the stock mesh "filter". It runs pretty well but seems on the hot side when cruising. At lower rpm it drops down to 160c. On longer stretches t gets up to 190c. Im a bit new to this moped. Is it running hot or am I just paranoid. Im using premix 32:1 as it is a relatively new build.

Starting pay for skywest

Skywest is one of my current job prospects and I was curious to hear from anyone who has been hired recently. What was your starting pay and did you get any premiums or differentials on top of that? I'm currently making around $30/hr in my aerospace manufacturing job that does not require an A&P license. I know i will likely make more but just curious how much more that might be.

Husbands with wives who struggle with mental health issues

My wife has struggled with mental health issues since before we were married. Depression, anxiety and such. Ive always tried to be supportive and understanding. Needless to say, it has taken a major toll on our sex life. We have never had frequent sex, once every 2-3 weeks. In the last 5 years it has gotten worse. We had a short period where it was weekly but that didn't last more than a few months. It was amazing and I felt the closest to my wife during that time that I ever had throughout our marriage.

It seems like her struggles always seem to prevent her from wanting sex. The medication decreases her sex drive and if she is dealing with anything emotionally difficult she will hang on to it for weeks or even months. Ive finally come to realize after years of frustration and disappointment that the typical advice for a husband to help out more if he wants more intimacy does not apply to me. Ive had so many times where I felt like I did everything right to help her get in the mood only to see it fall apart because she was upset about something outside of my control.

How have you dealt with challenges like this? We're you able to find anything that helped your wife to find more stability?

Recently applied to skywest, how long should i expect for interview process?

I submitted my application and completed the background check and video interview about a week ago. Is skywest slow to reach out to applicants? Is there a window of time that I should assume I didn't get an interview? Im new to the A&P world and not sure what to expect. I appreciate any insights. I heard that a fellow classmate was recently hired by skywest fresh out of amt school so im hopeful.

Multitool options

Ive carried this setup as my daily carry for the last couple years. Its super light and does almost everything I've needed to do with it. Its a SOG powerpint and compact double sided bit set. Will this translate well to A&P work or do I need bigger pliers?

Skywest tool setup

I might be getting hired for skywest and im looking for input on a tool setup that's budget friendly and functional. I already have maybe half the tools on the recommended list they provide from my personal use. Mostly harbor freight stuff but has been reliable for me. What sort of tool box do you recommend and tools that have been affordable and reliable. I realize there might be a few tools I will need to splurge on in order for them to be reliable but stuff like sockets and wrenches and can probably get away with. What do you recommend? I also have a sog powerpint as my EDC multitool with a bit set/extension. Its a bit small but has been decent. Will this work or should I invest in a Leatherman wave?

Applied for SkyWest, what's it like?

I just finished my A&P license and applied for a new skywest maintenance facility near my home. Is this a good job for starting out? Im 42 but in good shape for my age and I have 13 years of aerospace manufacturing experience along with automotive mechanics.

Honda express 70cc DR kit, ticking noise

Im new to 2 strokes. I recently picked up a honda express that came with a new DR kit. I installed the kit and put a pz19 carb on it. Ive been using AI to help get me dialed in on jetting. Long story short, i was a bit lean on the top end and took it out for a longer ride without knowing. After maybe 15 min of running in the upper rpm but not flat out, the engine died. It was like I hit the kill switch. I cranked it over right after and the piston moved fine but it wasnt starting. It may have been from an over heated coil and not a seizure. After maybe 5 min of pushing I tried starting it again and it fired up. Now the engine has a ticking noise that changes with rpm. Its not noticeable in the higher range. I got my jetting fixed so Im good now on that.

Im trying to figure out if the ticking noise is a rod bearing or something else. Some basic research suggested it could be the roller bearing in the piston end of the connecting rod. I didn't see any signs of impact on the spark plug so not sure if it might be piston slap. Any thoughts? I can try to post a short video if that will help in identifying the sound.
