Pieta House Cork Job Advertisement below the minimum wage

Even if this was a job advertisement from last year, the living wage wasn't €13.95 since late 2022. Their current advertisment has the wage at €13.95. Financial insecurity is a marker for anxiety and distress yet they are creating it in their staff.

Am I alone in thinking that rip.ie comments should never be made viral?

I'm disgusted at radio stations etc, posting a comment made in good faith, innocence, fondness for the deceased. The person is identifiable... it's seems cruel on everyone, the deceased, those that cared for them the person paying their respects. I know this might be counter the point as it is causing people to wonder who haven't seen it all over Facebook today. The message is to the deceased and should be treated with care or if people thought it was funny then reporting it would have been better. I had radio stations, etc getting clout like this. Unless it's fake!!

I find communicating via text unprofessional. There's something sketchy about a more or less refusal to communicate via email. These are legitimate people working in these recruitment agencies, not a scam.

I would be very cautious of any sleep expert, consultant etc. Public health nurse would have more experience. If you look at the qualifications of so called qualified sleep experts they are all short courses. Influencers who found a market. Calling yourself a sleep expert or sleep consultant when you've no formal qualification in the medical field is problematic. All these coaches etc parents need to be wary of

It's so tacky. It's unethical as a business. There ought to be regulations to stop this. Imagine if I used AI to pretend my food was mouldy from such businesses and then posted it on Facebook to damage the company. They would then see the dangers of AI. I'm not going to do this. I'm highlighting the double standard

Auctioneers should never have been allowed to use AI either on their images
