New cancellation policy

I’m new to Equinox, and one of the things that made me want to sign up was how flexible the class booking policy was, especially since I have a job with unpredictable hours.
Going from a 5-minute cancellation window to 90 minutes feels like a pretty significant change. I completely understand having a cancellation policy, but 90 minutes makes it much harder to book classes when you’re not sure exactly when you’ll be able to leave work.

Does anyone else feel the same way? If enough members do, I wonder if there’s a way we could collectively ask Equinox to reconsider the policy — either reverting to the old one or finding a middle ground, like 30 minutes.

Not sure what the best way to do that would be, but I’d definitely be interested in organizing something if there’s enough support.

5:55AM Fri July 10 Ticket Office Line

We had 80 people in front of us. I also included the pictures of the remaining tickets when we reached the box office.

We were able to get circuit 2B tickets at 6AM, which was our first preference. For SOL 304 for 2 people !

Flying out from LAX for the first time

Hi, first time flying out of LAX and first time on LATAM, curious for advice. We’re flying out at 9:30pm with checked bags. LATAM’s app says to arrive at 5:30pm, which feels early, but we’ve never flown out of LAX or on LATAM before, and this is the Sunday after July 4th so I know it’ll be busy. Would you still cut that 4-hour arrival window down, or is it actually warranted for this terminal/airline combo? Thanks !!

I opened the Delta SkyMiles Amex Platinum in December 2025 and have really liked it so far. I live in NYC and have been flying Delta a lot this past year, so the card has made sense for me.

That said, my situation is changing. I start a new job in July 2026 that likely will not allow me to travel much, and I am also planning to move to London around late 2027 / early 2028. Because of that, I’m wondering if it makes sense to shift away from earning Delta miles and toward flexible Amex Membership Rewards points instead.

I’m considering getting the Amex Gold because I spend a lot on dining/groceries and like the idea of building transferable points before moving abroad. My thinking is that Amex MR points may be more useful long term than Delta miles, especially once I’m in Europe.

Thoughts??
