Bosch has the chance to be first with a 12v turbo fan

I've been looking at turbo fans/precision blowers recently and noticed that while Makita and recently Milwaukee have released smaller 18v precision blowers, no power tool maker has released a small 12v blower.

So Bosch has the chance to be first in the market with a 12v turbo fan. It's a popular tool, especially for dusting off electronics, and could draw a lot of people into the Bosch Pro 12v ecosystem. Once they're in, they'll buy other 12v tools.

If Bosch engineers go all in on a turbo fan with nice brushless motor, smooth operation and speed adjustment, they could hit a home run here.

But of course we all know Bosch isn't going to do it until 2 years after everyone else has done it, because Bosch gonna Bosch and they'd rather release 10 different 18v drill drivers or rebrand their accessories into pro and expert lines.

But yeah, I said it.

Upgrading pressure washer setup - EU

Hey all

I'm in the EU and want to upgrade my pressure washer setup. I also want to buy a quick connect pressure gauge.

The problem is many of the recommendations are for american products which become twice as expensive when shipped to the EU.

So are there any EU alternatives?

  • Quick connect pressure gauge - which model do you recommend? I have found some on aliexpress (e.g. this) are they okay?
  • Gun - I want to upgrade my gun to one which can swivel under pressure. There is lots of praise for the Brugs Pro Swivel Gun V2.0, does an EU alternative exist? I am currently using Suttner ST2300 which is sturdy good quality, but I feel it doesn't swivel properly when under pressure.
  • Hose: I am currently using Kranzle HD-Schlauch NW 6 steel braided hose. It seems a bit stiff, is there a better option available in the EU? More flexible perhaps?

Thanks for any recommendations.

Has anyone tried spraying ONR rinseless wash on disc brakes rotors and calipers and did it contaminate them?

I was thinking about cleaning my bike with rinseless wash, but ONR and other such rinseless washes contain ingredients which leaves a slick and glossy surface and I'm afraid it will ruin the calipers.

Would love to hear from somebody who has actually tried spraying ONR all over their rotors and brake pads.
