Some raw gameplay from my auto-battler monster taming mobile game.

Hi,

Some raw gameplay of my auto-battler mobile game that I'm working on. There will be around 200 monsters. Around 300 moves. Around 120 abilities. I'm still polishing the UI and creating the monsters; all of them are made by me manually in vector art style.

Let me know what you think!

My latest raw prototype of my monster taming game battle system

Hi!

I'm currently working on a small battle prototype for a Steam game. This is the initial idea.
The idea is that fast monsters attack more often, but the damage is lower, they can be used to collect energy! There is a Time Unit on top; each move adds a TU value to the monster, and based on that, the order of attacking is decided.

I'm currently brainstorming a type chart. Maybe you have any ideas for it? The type chart from the top-left corner is just a placeholder.

How do you like the initial battle system? This is a raw prototype...

2 Android games released, $0.45 total revenue. Did anyone here eventually "make it"? Need some motivation!

Stats:

- 2 Android games released.

- $0.45 earned.😆

Feeling the heavy reality of the indie dev struggle today. I want to keep pushing, but I need some motivation from people who have been exactly where I am right now.

Did anyone here have a string of commercial "failures" before finally getting lucky or figuring out the formula? How many games did it take for you to finally see some success? Let’s share some stories and stats - I know that money shouldn't be motivation, but it's a nice addition. I have a feeling that what I'm doing doesn't have sense because there is already X similar games..
