Hello, does anyone have any tax advisors they would recommend in Dublin South or Central? Particularly for property management and inheritance, rather than income tax
So this is just me wondering.
Obviously there are Gaelscoileanna. And I know about St Killians in Clonskeagh that teaches through German.
Are there any other schools that teach through a non-English language? Through French or Spanish maybe?
Apologies if I'm missing it, is there an faq on OPOL anywhere, here or elsewhere online? I can find answers for if the child is resorting to majority language only.
Eg
Parent uses language a with child, and language b when addressing the other person? And child does the same? What if parent wants to address them both at the same time, a statement to the group as such. Seems messy.
We live in an English speaking community.
I am nearly fluent in Irish, my target language but a bit rusty, and husband is good, not great. I have books, media, playgroups etc in Irish sourced so it's not just me exposing my baby to Irish.
I find OLOP difficult, I am a huge reader and love reading to my child in English and just find expressing myself easier in English in general, obviously. Also he's still a baby and I am 🫠 tired 🫠. At the moment I kind of drift in and out between the two languages during the day. Husband will join in when he hears me speak it and will occasionally read him an Irish book.
I was having a look at the resources for non fluent parents, and they talk about more rigid structure re the language changes, one language in a specific setting or marking the language change with a particular piece of clothing etc. Just wondering in peoples experience, is it better to be rigid about when you speak one language, and if so what did people find the best method, or is being a bit fluid between them ok?
Possibly a stupid question, is there somewhere it's recorded if a property goes for sale, doesn't sell so price comes down.
Looking at opening an investment fund. Have been quoted 100% allocation but with a 1.5% management fee. I think you can DIY them with Zurich, or is there always a management fee?
Can anyone recommend a tax advisor in Dublin?
Specifically have questions re
leaving inheritance for my children
Buying a family property as a second property.
Thanks
Sorry for poor quality, but attached is layout of house currently. Kitchen cabinets/sink/fridge/cooker are in L shape as marked in black in the kitchen. Dining room is never used and just functions as a hallway between living and kitchen.
I was thinking of
knocking the wall between kitchen and dining room - red x
Maybe putting in an island - red box
And I would love to put in a utility room as marked with stacked washer dryer but I don't know if it would be possible - would have to (re)move kitchen door to hall?
Does anyone have any thoughts? Also open to extending the dining room out to the length of the kitchen as there is a patio there currently but it doesn't get the sun so we don't use it.
