I’ve been sharing my app NoteCalc (Notepad Calculator), here for the past couple of months and even gave out a lot of promo codes to the community. I’m really thankful that many of you liked it and even recommended it to others.

I’ve always been curious though does anyone know how apps actually get featured in HowToMen Top 15 Android Apps videos?

Is there some kind of submission process, or is it purely based on what he discovers?

I’ve been trying consistently, but still no luck so far. Just wondering if I’m missing something or doing something wrong.

No accounts no tracking everything runs locally

What it does
- Your wallpaper updates instantly when the song changes
- Different styles like frosted glass neon gradient
- Optional live motion effects that stay subtle
- Works on lock screen too
- Auto restores your original wallpaper when music stops

Why I built it

I always liked the idea of my desktop reflecting what I am listening to but most apps felt heavy or overdesigned

So I made something minimal fast and native to macOS

Current state
- About 3 MB app size
- 100+ User
- One time purchase 1.99
- No data collected

Still early but I would love feedback especially on what feels unnecessary or missing
