Hello everyone, Im a low elo level 40 Jayce Main Top lane who recently also been trying Olaf and have huge success with him thanks to online guides from Youtuber Coach Chippys and Olaf rework.

Basically this Youtuber who has reached Challenger in korea and one of top 5 Olafs, he claimed that a Tiamat is always a must buy (hexdrinker vs AP burst) because you can one shot waves with Q and tiamat active.

BUT imo why Tiamat first item? Olaf feels like Wukong where you dont want to push against the enemy so you have a long lane to run them down. Maybe its a skill issue on my part but I have lost 2 easy matchups vs Yone and Ambessa because they keep getting under or near tower side and I can’t run them down.

Title, low elo top lane need guidance from diamond players or above minimum.

Im playing teemo now as an alternative to jayce because plat and emerald players recommended me that jayce is too hard and I should drop him. Heard that teemo is an easy ranged alternative.

Then I lane vs Pantheon who counters every ranged and squishy top laner that isnt quinn or jayce. I lose lane hard and he is 5 levels ahead of me. I reached my first item in 20 minutes.

How to recover from a similar scenario where you losing hard and if its not possible, how to prevent it in the first place.

I heard that playing safe is the key but what does it actually mean? People say this but even they dont know what it meant and how to do it. I have tried my best to farm lanes ignoring my teammates and taking my jungler camps but im still behind in gold and xp.

I went 9 deaths and 200 cs in 30 mins, need guidance.

Basically the title, I am a low elo top lane main and just played a defeated match as quinn vs a garen top, I win 3 kills vs the garen early game but then I noticed that the team is very behind vs enemy team. I tried roaming but it costs me my tower and CS.

In the mid to late game, I tried to engage with the Garen but ultimately unable to stop his sidelaning solo even though I killed him 3 times early game.

What should I do in this situation realistically to win the game? If I go full roam to help my low chance to comeback team then the garen can just take inhib for free but then if I fought the garen, I would still lose but at least I can def objectives from him but at the cost of my team dying.

Also would like to ask for guidance to help a similar scenario in the future like when I am not quinn but same scenario.

Hi everyone, im a current low elo gold recently demoted to silver 1 Jayce and I have been one tricking him for the past few days but then I demoted from Gold 3 to Silver 1 today.

I need top lane alternatives that is blind pickable but also extremely easy to play. For example I also liked playing Trundle and Jarvan (jungle only) but Trundle is pretty useless if theres no tanks on enemy team. I also play Olaf which is harder than darius and akali but not as blind pickable, only played him vs heavy CC enemy teams.

I like champions that can engage enemy team or peel the team and someone tanky that can pressure the sidelanes really well and ideally someone that can change builds depending on situation.

I also need a champion recommendation that can carry the botlane or helps the botlane somewhat, 10 matches in a row I have got a losing botlane, as a top laner I feel helpless in winning if botlane is losing.

Basically title, I checked lolalytics and Jayce pickrate and banrate goes higher the higher rank you go in the top lane. If you watch high elo content creators and coaches gameplay, Jayce is one of those top champs is always banned.

Highest pickrate in Grandmaster+ top lane and 15% banrate.

Why he is feared so much even by high elo players? why high elo played him the most often?

I am asking this because I am a low elo Gold player who mained Jayce, I wanted to know what road should I take to improve my abilities to play Jayce and I figured one of the best to do that is to learn him the why and how of him in the title.

This champ has both low skill floor and ceiling yet so strong at the same time.

He could build damage as red kayn and still be tankier than bruisers junglers like Jarvan and Wukong, he could clear camps fast and then ganks lanes easily. Low elo teammates also doesn't know how to ward vs him so he could just gank them easily.

Whats the conterplay to this low iq champ? what champions hard counters him? Thanks in advance

Basically the title, there is a classix build made by nidhogg years ago with Jarvan where you Max E, sunfire aegis, Titanic Hydra, and Gargoyle Stoneplate.

Im looking for both the build that replaces or equivalent to that classic build years ago and a tanky build that is viable currently?

Love Bruiser Jarvan but gets boring fast and Lethality heavily relies on hitting your E Q first. The tank builds should help vs tankier team comps.

Im a low elo gold top and Jungler player playing currently Olaf, Trundle, Wukong, and Jarvan while Jarvan is my best performing champion.

As a laner and jungler I wanna know mistakes when I commonly make when I play jungle because sometimes I feel like I am lacking something in the jungle even when winning and especially losing a match.

Champions picked because low skill floor and low skill ceiling.

edit: what is tempo people mentioning really means? Scenario, when a jungler should abandon camps to gank lanes? I struggle much choosing one or the other

Im a low elo Jayce main playing him mainly Top but also on mid and on support/jungle if autofilled.

Basically the title, as a top laner if you’re behind in levels and gold, how to just do a comeback from that? How to gain levels and gold to balance the scale?

Today just played vs Yone while its an easy lane, Kayn ganked me so I lost lead vs Yone while Yone infinitely scales in CS, Gold, and levels.

Also I want to ask a scenario: im 3 or more levels behind vs enemy top laner, team wants to teamfight and should I join the fight while being underlevelled or just focusing on farming ignoring team?

Just played vs Ksante today and after 1 single desths he snowballs heavy, armor penetration items doesnt work vs him as Jayce and Jayce has no armor penetration.

It can happen vs any matchup usually.

Hi all i’ve been playing Renekton couple of times but notice that his early game is pretty mediocre, becomes trash champion when he is behind.

Many other champs have also strong early that last to late game and better comeback.

Im asking this because since Renekton early game is not that special, would a tank build be good on him? Just be a big guy and stun people and jumping onto carries. Since his damage is pretty trash, a tank build when behind still be more useful than a damage build.

Q E into him he can fully block it with his shield, he can also windwall the Q, I can destroy his shield with AA but Jayce AA range is short which Yasuo can jump onto Jayce, sure Jayce can E Yasuo away but Yasuo have infinite dashes and no cooldown.

Skill matchup is only said by Yas players who somehow loses lane to a Jayce with all those utilities he has to counter Jayce’s ranged form main damage which is Jayce’s Q E which reduces Jayce damage by a big chunk.

He gets 1 kill he immediately wins lane, As Jayce with 1 kill, a snowball doesnt happen until 3 kills.

And this is with yasuo with ignite, I also played vs him with him using Exhaust and its just unwinnable.

What is Yasuo counterplay to win lane as ranged champions but mainly jayce since he is my main?

Basically the title, im a low elo top main who migrated to jungle because its my highest winrate role, mainly playing Jarvan and Wukong Jungle with occasional Trundle or Olaf.

I was playing lillia first time and damn this champ is hard, fun to hit the spin and the jump but the her E travels so slow and hard to aim with it and I cant jump over terrain.

I also have tried junglers like Nidalee and Elise. I then noticed that these AP junglers most of them are harder compared to AD junglers. You have to manage your mana better in the jungle, you have to hit the skillshots, you are extremely squishy and mages have trash late game compared to AD vs Magic Resists.

Sure there are low iq AP jungler like Mordekaiser but so far he is the only one as AP champ (teemo can jungle but not popular?) while AD got Jarvan, Wukong, Warwick, Yi, Nocturne, Trundle, Briar, Naafiri, and more.

Why is this the case and If i do want to play more AP junglers, care to share more tips how to perform better on them? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, basically the title. I would like to rank up but I need to learn the fundamentals and one of them is probably spacing.

Heard that spacing is more important on ranged champions compared to melee but melew definitely still be very useful. I play jayce mainly and sometimes I still get caught by a Morde or Sett even with Storm Rush, I would like to change that.

So what is spacing? What are the advantages of a player who knows spacing vs someone who doesn’t? How to do it consistently? some tips and tricks to improve on it.

I was playing jayce top today and while I do get kills on the akali, she just can still burst you I ended up basically underlevelled (8 to her 11) and lost the early game.

“high skill champ” but low elo players can still do good on her without high mastery, meanwhile I have to be on tryhard mode everytime I hop on my Jayce. In my elo I never see low mastery Jayce Have positiv KDA while akali can.

Sure Jayce W can reveal akali in the smoke but Jayce is fragile and the reveal is useless if you can’t target her when she was revealled. She deals so much damage even while missing some of her skills and me using bone plating.

Hi everyone, im a low elo hard stuck Silver top main but my best role is jungle with Jarvan with 90% winrate and my second best champ is Wukong.

Basically the question in the title, recently I played Diana Ignite mid vs Tristana Barrier Mid while our Junglers are team's Karthus vs enemy's Shyvana.

In that match I lose lane hard, first my jungler dies to 1v1 Shyvana in the river and blames me which kinda true and I should've helped karthus in the river but dying in 1v1 is kinda weird and I was very focused on mid.

Second is Shyvana with every chance she ganks all lanes but mainly mid, I ended up with 5 deaths on mid alone due to her ganks, once a gank when my wave pushed up on tristana towers which is my fault but other waves are 1 on neutral middle position and 3 other near my tower side and I still gets ganked.

I pinged my karthus to help me mid yet he still refuses to even though wave isn't on tristana side except once, I once can solo kill tristana but karthus kill steal tristana then later on the twisted fate but later in the match.

Match ended with 6 deaths but 5 kills because I didn't int and grief while karthus ended with 8 kills but 8 deaths with less levels and objectives compared to enemy jungler.

Basically the question in the title, What is the best course of action in this scenario? So in the future I could adapt more into the game as late game junglers are pretty common in low elo and ganks from them are pretty unreliable both from the player or champion design perspective compared to a gank heavy jungler like J4 or Lee Sin.

Hello everyone, im a mainly top lane low elo main but my best role is unfortunately Jungle (Jarvan 100% winrate, 11 matches, climbed from bronze 3 to silver 2 fast). I have just played twisted fate mid vs ekko which im winning so enemy shaco just keeps ganking me and I ended up with 7 deaths that game but match is won and I got 7 kills because I didn't grief even though still blamed because I refused to waste my ult for my low elo teammates, or I was wrong and refused to listen to them.

My jungler is master yi and I kept pinging him to help me mid when shaco isn't around or when I blow Ekko Flash but Master yi refuses to gank midlane (wave in neutral position).

As for jungle, I mainly play Jarvan as I have 100% winrate on him but my second choice is Wukong. last 8 matches as jungle I won 6 out of 8 matches as jungle but I still struggle against invaders like shaco, or kindred or literally anybody who invaded my jungle, how to counterplay?
