Hi, I’ve written songs before, but haven’t posted them anywhere yet. This isn’t one of my first attempts at writing songs, but I’d love the feedback.
Title: Just the Birds and Me.
Intro.
upbeat groovy piano with quiet acoustic guitar in the background and light percussion Verse 1. This feeling in my heart is tearing me apart.
What am I to do? This feeling is so new.
If I could fly high up there in the sky,
I would feel alive, then my dream would finally come true. Prechorus. if I could just unfurl my wings and head up to that bright blue sky, that would be all right with me if I could only fly. chorus. I would feel so free if it was just me,
High up in the clouds where the wind is the only sound.
I would shout hooray if there were a way,
I could glide through the trees, just the birds and me. verse 2.
