Part number
Does anyone know the part number for this? It’s a stud that holds one of the grounds and a mounting point for the ignition coil covers.

I’m doing Valve cover gaskets and wanted to get an opinion on these Vanos covers. Should they be changed based on this condition? It’s a 2012 m3 with 124k miles. Also this is my first m car so I’m learning lol. I ordered evolve vanos covers but was just debating.
I’m doing the valve cover gaskets on my car and thought I’d do this too while I’m there as many people recommend it. $500+ for a peice of aluminum is absurd but well worth it at the same time, beats having a dead engine lol.
If someone installed Evolve covers, how have they held up? I’m looking into another brand called Ventrax.
Does anyone know the part number for this? It’s used to hold the ignition coil cover onto the Vavle cover. Both sides were already broken like that and the rest of the thread is in the opening. Car is a e92 m3
Ahhh, is this normal? Never seen this happen with any of my other bowls. Had HJ, some Egyptian and other bowls but never had this issue. Had it for about 3 months and used it maybe 2-3 times a week. It’s an Alpaca LeRook
Hey everyone, I just got my first BMW, E92 M3 and I’m starting to do maintenance on it. The car has 124k miles and the valve cover gasket is leaking. When I changed the spark plugs, I noticed oil in the plug wells.
My question is about the grommets. BMW only sells them with the bolts, which is pretty expensive. I see NRW sells separate grommets—are those good and do they fit well, or should I just reuse the old ones?
