Pure light and darkness ritual

Just trying to get a decent build to start with. Got locals tomorrow, just wanted some advice on my build. I have a third black chaos ordered, I only got one pot of sloth or I'd run more. Extra deck is far from optimized. Working on getting magician of destruction and gaze of timaeus so I can run dragoon.

I know there's the option to run rda and fallen of the white dragon engines, but I don't have either of those at present, but I'm also not sure how much I actually like those in the first place.

I have been toying around with splashing angelechy into the deck, since the monster lineup is pretty slim, and the extra deck is pretty open ended too. But I wanted to nail this down first so I know what works and what doesn't.

Light and darkness ritual question.

So, I'm playing around with the ldr stuff, and I had a situation come up and I wasn't sure if I could actually do this or not.

So, the situation is I have skull archfiend of chaos, ldr, and two other cards in grave that aren't related to ldr. I wanted to use skull archfiend to return three cards to the bottom of the deck, but the only card that mentions ldr is ldr.

And going off of how Japan does their once per turn restrictions on things, they never actually name the card in those restrictions, it's always "you can only use the effect of this card's name once per turn."

So I figured that would apply to the TCG as well, since ocg tends to take precedent as far as proper text and naming and such goes. That's why the one power patron card specifically had to mention it excluded once per turn restrictions in effects.

So could I have actually done the play, or was I correct in my assumption that I'm not allowed to make that play because the card shouldn't actually mention the name?

[USA-WA] [H] Pot of Sloth, starlight rares [W] Cash/paypal

First time posting, hopefully I formatted things correctly. If something is wrong, please lemme know so I can fix it, thanks.

cards

I'm looking to get $500 for all three, would prefer to move them together (or at least the two sloths together)

Clown crew meteor vs solemn warning type cards?

Title basically. Can my opponent negate my tribute summon if meteor is out?

Culinary clash ruling

If either of the monsters that culinary clash would summon are faceup in the extra deck, if I summon them to the opponents field, do they summon in the extra monster zone? Or the opponents main monster zone?

I would assume the extra zone still, but my friend wanted me to double check since it matters against his archfiend deck whether he has the extra zone free or not.

What do you do when you find your deck hitting higher than the bracket you thought it was?

I have an eirdu deck, and according to manabox, it's bracket three, and only became a three when I added smothering tithe to it.

But as I've played, I've realized several different infinites I can do in the deck to gain infinite life, infinite +1/+1 counters, and I think infinite damage as well? (Possibly infinite treasures as well)

And it's incredibly resilient as well, able to endure multiple board wipes with little to no resources lost, it has some stacks pieces like darkness crystal, dauthi void walker, etc. (I can post the list if people are interested) that allow for more grindy games to go in my favor.

So I'm wondering at what point do you ignore what things like mana box says about your deck and start saying they're a bracket higher? This is mostly to ensure I have an honest and accurate pre-game discussion, since I feel like I might have misled some of my matches accidentally.

EDIT: the deck list, if anyone is interested in checking it out.

Clown crew without the nouvelle stuff. (Please read text for more info)

Planning on doing a regional on the 31st, the only thing I've been able to find for nouvelle is the lv one pendulum (and it's water damaged), nobody else seems to have any of the cards for the package in my area.

I can try and pick them up at the event, but that's not reliable, so I'm prepping to play without. Is the deck so terrible without them that it's not worth playing?

I've definitely experienced some bricking with the deck due to having only nine real starters, six of which require a monster to go with them.

The side deck could also use some fine tuning. I'm considering using snatch steal or change of heart to steal stuff for tribute summons going second, I just haven't found more than one change of heart at present, so I'm going with snatch steal for now.

Basically just want some feedback on the list and if it's even a good idea to try and run it as is.

Damage step ruling question

I have a vanity's fiend in play with a set forbidden droplet.

Opponent summons magical ejector and attempts to attack into my fiend.

He uses honest neos to increase attack by 2500.

Am I able to use forbidden droplet after honest neos resolves to halve the atk and keep my fiend alive?
