Why Am I Shy 😂

Shy and/or introverted ladies, it never occurred to me that this wouldn’t wear off before I got engaged lol. Our elopement is 6 days away and I’m literally nervous and shy about being the main character in front of 8 people, 3 of which have known me their whole lives and 1 I’m marrying 😂 it’s the most ridiculous thing but still!

Seeking Openings at Charter

I recently received an offer for $65K to work at a charter (won't say which). I haven't accepted yet because they gave me a grade level and subject that I didn't apply to or see myself teaching, but mostly because I have a Master’s and would love to be at one of the places that pays more for that. Do you know of any with openings (especially in English/ELA) that pays a bit more for someone with a Master's?

Disability Seats

Did Amtrak create a new policy? Before today I’ve been able to sit in the disabled seats for my hearing when they’re empty and only have to move when someone with a bigger disability has to sit (which almost never happens and if it did I’d be fine moving) but today I was told I couldn’t sit there because I didn’t have a certain type of ticket but I’ve always had regular coach.

Where can I stay until I get my first paycheck?

So I may have gotten a job and told them I still lived in NYC. If I get it, where can I safely stay for 2-3 weeks til I get my first paycheck? I unfortunately don’t have money for hotels or a sublet so I know my options are pretty limited to probably a shelter, but wanted to see if there’s anything I may be overlooking? I’ve been homeless several times but I’ve never actually stayed in a shelter.
