Day games
I used to love attending 1 PM day game. Now the thought of sitting out in a stadium under the summer afternoon Sun sounds like torture. Is this because I’m getting older or because of climate change and the sun being more intense?

NHL goalie masks were way better and more distinct in the 90s.
Now it’s all Daveart slop with too much going and they end up looking basically the same.
Not joking.
I admit it. I thought the Mets would be good this year.
I didn’t mind letting Alonso go for what he was asking for.
I was disappointed about Diaz leaving (but that signing had been a dud for LA).
I thought Polanco was a shrewd pickup and Robert Jr a nice high upside flier.
I thought the Peralta trade made sense and filled a major need.
I was excited about Bo.
I understood moving on from Nimmo and his contract. I was not excited about Semien and the infield logjam.
I thought Senga was primed for a bounce back season.
I admit it. I was very wrong.
Any regular batting cages with pitching machines still exist in Queens that aren’t like baseball training centers where you need to pitch yourself?
What was the purpose of putting this guy on the roster? A good fielding 2B who can’t hit should be gettable for around the league minimum. Luisangel Acuna isn’t doing much worse.
And this isn’t about trading Nimmo. I understood wanting to move on given where he is in his career.
But they would have been better off eating salary for a mid level prospect or just with an outright salary dump, as opposed to adding a non factor at a position where they already had a logjam.
