Light or Dark Grey Triangle Scarf

Hi all! Got one of these in taupe last year and was absolutely obsessed so looking to pick another up for fall. Do people think the charcoal or chrome will work better with more outfits? I cannot decide!!!! I have dark brown hair and fair skin so I was thinking the lighter might be a better contrast with my hair, one the flip side though would the darker go with more outfits? happy to get other’s opinions!

Help! Bjork and Berries September

Has anyone tried this one from Bjork and Berries? I love Fjallso and White Forest from this brand, and I’m interested in September but can’t seem to get a handle on what it might smell like.

I don’t see many people talking about this one on social media. On Fragrantica some say it’s a dupe for Santal 33, but then also talk about fruity kumquat notes, and some people say it’s a clean girl scent but then I also see people saying it’s way too smoky.

Has anyone here tried it and have opinions they could give? I generally do love clean, sandalwood and woody scents but the commentary around the citrus and smokiness are putting me on the fence. Thank you!!!

Souvenir Pant

Looking to pick up the Souvenir Pant now that it’s going to start to cool down soon (hopefully).

Do people find they are a good length? I hate when pants ride up too high on my calf when sitting down (I’m 5’6”). Also, do people find they stretch out throughout the day?

I’ve been wondering if I can get away with wearing them to the office too or if they would just be for casual wear.

It seems like the red line is down everyday?

I grew up in Cambridge and basically lived on the red line in high school (early 2010s). I always felt like it was better than the orange/green whenever I took those.

I left to go to college in NY and moved back to Boston a little while ago, living on the orange line (via bus) now because it’s more convenient for work. I’ve been impressed with the orange line! I know they had it shut down for work a year or two ago.

I feel like at least once or twice a day I see a post about the red line being delayed 25+ minutes. Genuinely what is going on!!!! I’m sorry to my red line brothers in arms. I used to wax poetic about how much better the red line was than all the other lines but times change I guess!

Aren’t cars supposed to stop at a blinking yellow when a pedestrian is waiting to cross?

Hi all! Just moved from another part of New England to Boston. On my walk to the train station for my commute into work there is a crosswalk across a busy street. The lights are always on a blinking yellow, and the pedestrian signals are off. Pressing the crosswalk button does nothing.

I’ll stand in the crosswalk indicating that i’m trying to cross for a while and cars just blow past and don’t even slow down even though they have a blinking yellow. Aren’t cars supposed to stop at a blinking yellow if there is a pedestrian waiting to cross? I’m at a loss, sometimes waiting for 3-4 minutes before someone stops and then i’m rushing to make my train. Even when a car stops in one direction often i’m standing in the middle of the street for a beat because sometimes the next few cars in the opposite don’t stop. Believe me, i’m out far enough that the cars should see me. Sometimes I make eye contact with the drivers as they zip by me.

Does anyone else find Byredo La Tulipe similar to Regime des Fleurs Tears?

I went to my local Byredo boutique to test La Tulipe and have been wearing it for a few hours now. I felt like it was really reminding me of a scent i’d had before, and I think it’s RDF Tears. Does anyone else agree or am I totally off base? They both smell like a watery whole floral to me. Also finding that La Tulipe has almost no throw and I have to put my nose right up to my arm to smell.

Parking availability at Forest Hills Station?

How early in the morning does the Forest Hills parking lot fill up on the weekdays? Going to start commuting via Forest Hills and i’d save an extra 20-30 minutes driving and parking there vs taking a bus. Thanks!

How to find out of upcoming construction or street closures?

Hi all! My street has been closed on and off for the last few weeks due to construction. I’m going to be moving on a Tuesday in July and i’m worried that there’s going to be an issue. Is there a way to see a schedule of upcoming road closures? Also do you need a permit to park a moving truck? Thanks!

Getting charged broker fee?

looking at apartments in Brookline and I came across this post. It says a broker fee equal to 1 months rent will be due and “agent represents prospective tenants.”

If I just reach out on the listing can they charge me the brokers fee? I haven’t hired anyone. It says posted by management company so I assumed that was who manages the building and not the agent but not sure.

Thanks! Moving from RI and my current apartment is just an owner occupied building and my landlords are a sweet old couple so I have never had to deal with all this stuff.

How to report to something to the MBTA?

Hi all! Sitting on the Providence commuter rail line heading outbound. Noticed at the Attleboro stop on the inbound track there is a large dead animal right in the middle of the tracks. Looks like a dog or coyote that was hit by the train. It was pretty disturbing to look at and amassing bugs. Is there somewhere to report this to the MBTA?
