Flowers Foods (6.8% yield)

I run a concentrated value fund and Flowers Foods FLO is one of my long-term holdings (6.8% yield). A lot of income investors wrote it off after the dividend cut, so here’s the actual thesis behind why I’m still in.

Q2 2026 Investor Letter (free) also includes commentary on Alibaba, PayPal, and Lululemon if you’re interested in those names as well.

All feedback is welcomed.

Flowers Foods (FLO) Earnings reveal cracks in the Bear case

Hello everyone,

Just published my earnings review for Flowers Foods (FLO) on Substack. 107 year old Consumer staple selling at 6.6x forward FCF yield, paying a ~7% dividend (after the cut).

Looks solid from an asymmetric risk/reward play at current levels. Not financial advice.

Write-up available for all to read!

What do you guys think of this?
