I am looking at purchasing a very specific JLC that is $15,000+ and have found a handful of Hong Kong sellers offering the watch for a fair price. I contacted 3 different sellers and each one told me the same thing: the watch I requested had been sent out for service / maintenance and they gave me a window between 2 - 10 weeks before the watch would be available.

Is this normal, to have 3 separate sellers, all tell you that the inquired watch is not available yet? The availability was listed as the watch needed to be procured, but is it common for the retailers to share the same inventory? Each retailer has 800+ ratings but I wanted to ensure I wasn’t missing anything. Has this happened before?
