Where are the nicest people?

I know people usually say r/bald but are there any others where the users aren't miserable and get off on pointless fighting and making fun of others? Probably not a niche hobby sub, but at this point I am not very picky. Just wanna talk with people in the comments without being stressed out by my English skills being mocked or people picking fights.

Edullisia kamerasuosituksia?

When a job gets replaced by machines, why won't people think about the thousands now becoming unemployed in few years?

And why is showing understanding and sympathy as well as concern for these people's future such a bad thing? All you get from people is being called "stupid" in the typical reddit manner. The same people who either think they themselves won't ever get replaced or that if you lose your job there's always "cake to be had".

All people say is "this job suck, it is great that machines can do it for them now" with often someone adding "yeah, now we can start giving everyone universal income for existing and everyone can just do jobs they enjoy without a struggle." But there's no such reality, there's no such option anywhere: no country is going to give these suddenly unemployed people in hundreds or thousands - of all ages and backgrounds - money to live comfortably, probably just enough unemployment benefits that they might not starve but they could lose their homes and possession for having the only source of income they know suddenly taken away.

Even a few years switch to machines is not necessarily enough time to try out options, if there's any. Not everyone can go study a new profession depending on the circumstances, moving can be hard if not impossible, there's never gonna be a situation where every single unemployed person lands on their feet. Some of these people's lives are going to be ruined, and that's a fact.

There's nothing inherently bad about making machines to do labour, that's never what these concerns have been about since people started inventing things. It has always been about the fate of the workers and how there's no interest to make sure they will be taken care of. There are no laws that the government or the employer should help fund re-education, theres no universal income. This is about people who get discarded so the company owner can save up money by replacing them with machines but no one is required to help out the people that got sacked and found themselves with nothing.

Would the downstairs neighbour hear it if you sat on the floor and let out a loud fart?

If I can hear vague sounds of speech and laugh it would seem like fart sounds would be audible but I am not sure. Anyone ever tested this out?

Why do racists get mad about being called that?

And i don't mean accusing someone of being a racist but someone says something obviously racist but they never own up to it like "I said it, so what" it is always them starting namecalling or complaining about it or some such, like why does it make them mad? It isnt even a slur and only regular people hate being called racist so why do racists hate it?

edit: adding since people are taking this personally and want to fight me instead of giving their best guess that this is merely a question out of curiosity, and so I won't be wasting my time in fighting anyone. Otherwise all theories and guesses are welcome and will be read.

Shark and alligators survival story recs

I went through whatever recs I found about sharks and alligators but they all seem to be either comedic with fantastical creatures and not regular animals or nonfiction but I would want to find stories based on reality that aren't ridiculous or fantastical, like The Jaws. That novel was pretty gory and had the last battle against the shark so there were survival-elements to it, and there's even more horror movies with realistic horror approach to surviving against something that is at the same time realistic but also unrealistically vicious like the shark in the movie The Reef and the crocodile in Blackwater. Do such novels exist?

In a pinch I would accept nonfiction if there's any that was interesting, thanks.
